Why are Carlcrudites running riot on this board? Have they no board of their own? I've logged on to find them in just about every thread - in numbers. Why can't they celebrate on their own board? Or does a win only matter if they can flaunt in before Pies people? Carlton seems to be suffering from a massive cultural cringe; but do we really have to tolerate so many of them??????

It is getting tiresome with all the constant gloating and "advice" from some of their posters. I dont see the point in going to other teams boards to carry on after a win. I'm usually just happy we won.

Having said that, they do have a couple of posters who are constructive and welcome here like EddieBetts is a Champ or whatever his name is.

Having said this, I dont want to see our board become the sooky place that the Carlton board is where even the slightest adverse comment becomes an infraction.

^^^^^ I agree with all of this, Kirby. Reasonable Carlton barrackers who come here regularly to discuss the game only add to the interest. It's the tossers who only turn up to wallow in crass triumphalism that I object to. Their posts are often deliberately offensive. But I expect they're all about 14, so maybe we should forgive and ignore them.

Carlton suppporters, we understand that you havn't had many wins in the last 7 years, but even so, you need to learn how to be good winners. A pretty large percentage of your posters on bigfooty are complete ____headed assholes, who go onto opposition boards and clog up every thread with your gloating bullshit. Fine, gloat a bit, this board welcomes the opportunity to argue with opposition fans, but keep it to one or two threads, we would like to discuss the game without your petty insults. We all have thick skins, we are Collingwood supporters, we have been putting up with shit forever, it does however get tiresome when you go into every ____ing thread gloating.

In all honesty, i think there are many of us gloating on this board due to many of the Magpie supporters optimism of a certain win in a 42+ drubbing of Carlton.

It was a good match, and we prevailed. Good game.

Just asking for trouble on that one. I dont think we had one thread on our board in the past week claiming that you were a crap team, or taking the piss out of you.

Anyway, im not here to cause trouble. Hope we have some more exciting matches next season.

I'd encourage everyone to make use of the Report Post function if a post offends them, and it can be looked at by myself, Vinnie and Jabso. It's almost impossible to filter everything that is posted here, particularly after a loss to a club with a big supporter base. However we can view all reported posts quite comfortably and make a decision on them.

Carltons alot more improved then I thought they would be this season, not the easybeats anymore, could easily make finals this year too, though I think they will hit their best form in the next year or two.

Why should the majority of us rule-abiding posters suffer because a few bad eggs ran amok on Carlton's board. Surely we have the right to "talk shit" on our own board as long as it's in the rules. It doesn't mean that just because we got it wrong that Carlton supporters can come here and break the rules.

The fact is if the posts break the rules then they must be dealt with and others have the right to complain about them.
