Ken Hinkley: Pass me a Coke Vossy.
Michael Voss: Here you go Ken.
Ken Hinkley: OK let’s get on with this. Carlton are very good football team and they will no doubt try and stop us by clogging up the corridor like every other team has done this year. How are we going to beat this tactic?
Josh Carr: Go wide to the wings.
Matthew Nicks: That’s what we have been doing and look where that’s got us.
Josh Carr: But we can’t go down the corridor because that will be clogged.
Tyson Edwards: How about we just kick it long over the top of the corridor?
Ken Hinkley: Because there will be no players to kick long to.
Tyson Edwards: Why?
Ken Hinkley: Because all the players will be in their zone behind the ball.
Michael Voss: Change the zone then.
Ken Hinkley: Ahh your crazy Vossy, pass me another coke.
Tyson Edwards: No Ken, I think Vossy is on to something here. Change the zones and have at least 2 players forward of centre.
Ken Hinkley: But the opposition will just put extra numbers back.
Josh Carr: Won’t all their players be in the corridor?
Ken Hinkley: Not if we put more players forward they won’t be.
Josh Carr: So why don’t we just through the corridor?
Ken Hinkley: Because they will have the corridor clogged up.
Josh Carr: My head hurts.
Ken Hinkley: OK let’s just get on with selection and worry about game day tactics later.
Darren Burgess: OK White is out with a hammy and Stewart is sore but everyone else from last week’s game are available plus we have Trengove off the injury list.
Ken Hinkley: Who has been performing in the SANFL?
Garry Hocking: Moore has had an extended run of good form and Ah Chee has really been amongst the best players since returning. Jake Neade has been kicking lots of goals but is injured.
Ken Hinkley: What about Mitchell?
Garry Hocking: Got best player last week but probably hasn’t strung as many good games together like Moore and Ah Chee.
Ken Hinkley: Bring him in.
Garry Hocking: Moore or Ah Chee?
