Let him get in form ffs, he has been stinking it up for weeks and isn't going to be given a gold pass with that happening. If he's in form he plays, if he isn't then he doesn't. Rutten, Otten and Talia are too slow to have in the Backline together and was shown against Hawthorn that we will get burnt with anyone with either pace or agility.

For mine Rutten, Hartigan and Otten play the same position and shouldn't play together in the backline with Talia.

L. Thompson, Siggins and Shaw are probably that 3rd tall spot.

Watching the game today, S. Thompson doesn't run defensively enough and when he does he is bent over unable to breath.

Subject to tomorrows game, what I would like to see:

Out: Pods, S. Thompson, Laird, Bickley

In: Rutten (as Hartigan is injured), M. Crouch or Lyons, Cameron, Forward Coach who was a forward and has enough bal........ guts to tell the midfield players to kick it to a player leading and not bomb it on their heads!

I would then move Otten into Pods role as the swing man and have Rutten, Talia and L. Thompson as our tall defenders. Bring in Hartigan when fit and playing well enough to warrant a selection.

Give Lynch two games in the SANFL to get touch.

Grigg also to start and who ever comes in.

And gold pass? How many gold passes have been given out to players who stink it up for 12 months? Lynch plays 2 'bad' games and gets the bullet? It makes me laugh, because lynch has 16 and 2 goals against hawthorn, which is seen as a good game for most forwards. He also gets the ball more than any other of our forwards. Pods has had woeful, just abysmal games and gets a gold pass, so has jenkins and countless others

Sando gives gold passes to guys like pods, Reilly, rutten, Jacobs, Thompson, Jenkins, tex, Mackay, VB, Douglas etc. Yet lynch doesn't? Lol. Even petrenko had a gold pass in 2012

Laird is almost at gold pass territory as well. Jaensch gets his spot as a back pocket, but suddenly he is that good he is changes into a forward? He is a back pocket at best. And how he played forward today instead of lynch, and midfield instead of Matt crouch is just unbelievable

Not sure people are being reasonable with our back six on todays performance, give any team the opportunity to waltz through the midfield without pressure and your defence will look shit. I mean I haven't seen Talia beaten like that to the ball for two seasons and if he is getting smashed god help the rest of our players. There needs to be some serious questions asked of our almost one way running midfield and its line coach and there shouldn't be the same people there next week against Brisbane.

I'll keep talking about it until it changes, and the club makes the right decisions. Holding all the players to the same standard would be a start, picking a player because you can't drop him due to your friendship would be something else, and the coach not wrapping senior players in cotton wool by putting 'rested' or 'insert mythical injury' is another.

Lynch has played 1 good game the whole year, his kicking is shit so what he can do is work on it in the SANFL when it is not costing us a game.

Let Lynch earn his stripes, he has had 1 good year his whole career whereas the players you mentioned bar Petrenko have has repeatedly good seasons so just stop whinging it's just.......sad

Don't mind these changes at all but won't happen. They will never "rest" Danger or Thommo and definitely not at the same time........

But wouldn't mind seeing this, or even moving Danger forward instead of dropping him.
