Say what now??The game has gone passed Crowden. He's slow
He is actually quite quick.
32.9km/h v Melbourne, round 16 last year.....I dont expect that he has lost that much pace in the last 9 months or so....

He had 5 kicks on the weekend I believe. 3 of them I think were sublime kicks to a leading player and I think they all lead to goals.Of all the knocks that get brought up on him, the only one that is legitimate is that he doesn't get enough ball.

Has the forward line changed since 2016?And a 2.92 20m in his draft year.
Of all the knocks that get brought up on him, the only one that is legitimate is that he doesn't get enough ball. Then again, none of our HFF ever seem to get the ball except when we smash teams. When we do that, we see more of Mitch too. What are the odds?
But the most staggering thing with him and several other players that cop it week to week, is that he has played 28 games. I always said if you haven't won a brownlow before 30 games - delist!
And that describes Crowden's game on the weekend to a teeThe good teams put the ball into space that demands the forward to run on to it. Or the forwards direct the ball carrier to where they want.
Not specifically Crowden related, but I hope we get to a stage where we are bringing in players when they have developed to a level capable of sustaining afl standard. Or where we only have a couple gaining higher level experience. And a 2.92 20m in his draft year.

You know how our inside 50 delivery is ****? Would it make sense to drop the bloke that had 3 times as many goal assists as the next best player? I am thinking probably not.
We need more smarter players/play,we are either too short, or always a tall short. And that describes Crowden's game on the weekend to a tee
Hence why I dont understand the calls here to drop him....
Simply based on his 3 almost perfect kicks to our forwards is encouragement enough for me to want to keep him in!
Yea... no idea why we've held onto that Mundy guy so longAnd a 2.92 20m in his draft year.

If we can punish them on turnover while their team is running into attack and the field is wide open...Regardless of the ins this game will be bad for us.
Essendon by 57 points in a smashing. They are a pretty relentless team. All out attacking team will be too much for us.
Essendon are 15th on the ladder and haven’t started favourite in any game prior to this one. This is highly winnable. In fact I am expecting a win and will be disappointed if we don’t get one.Regardless of the ins this game will be bad for us.

You also said we'd lose against Adelaide and Hawthorn. It's not hard to predict a loss and then act like you are a footy savant when it happens. That's the sort of reply i got when i said we'll get beaten by the freshly thrashed Eagles and the down and out blues (got the margin of 45 right too)
Essendon have been great this year and probably should have 5 or 6 wins.
This one will be hard viewing.
I predicted 8 wins and I have the same win/loss ratio as freo1997You also said we'd lose against Adelaide and Hawthorn. It's not hard to predict a loss and then act like you are a footy savant when it happens.

I said the derby was a 50/50 game - and not to underestimate WC despite their injuries. I wanted us to win it (like every supporter should) and said the result would be how we responded after half time. We came out after half time and were crap so we got pumped. The really easy thing to do in any game is predict a loss (because nobody gives a shit about being wrong if they win).Don't remember many of you tipping a win over GWS?
Still heartbroken over the derby result? Such a surprise wasn't it...

Unlike you I haven't been bragging about how amazing I am at predicting outcomes. If I did then I'd expect someone on here to call me out on picking and choosing what I was right and wrong about.
I'm guessing he doesn't have the tank for it or something as it is exactly what I thought. Lack of height isn't ideal on a wing but has the other attributes. He'd have to be the attacking winger as he isn't taking an intercept mark.He had 5 kicks on the weekend I believe. 3 of them I think were sublime kicks to a leading player and I think they all lead to goals.
So yeah, drop the guy who is actually showing the same forward entries that this board has been crying out for for years. Makes sense
Imagine what could happen if he got 7 kicks
I'd play him on a wing...
Stringer is injured.I was disappointed to see that mutant Stringer go to Fyfe last year and do well against him. If that happens again (and I doubt it will), I will tip Nathan Fyfe to even the ledger. I will hope that he smashes the empty-headed buffoon. Just f^cking crumples him like a used tissue.
