Freo are up and about, an important game for top-4 makeup. Probably won't be pretty given the defensive style of each side, although we do turn it on against good teams.

yeah Pickett, TMac and Trac looked pretty sore at times. plus Langdons ribs. Petty got checked out early on too but played on.
gotta give the Roos some credit, they hit us hard and they left a few sore boys out there.

If Salem is right to go I think Gus goes back to the wing, or maybe move Riv up the ground a bit

Rivers best game for the year yesterday I reckon.

Thought he was better but still think he's first out. Gus makes us a better side in the backline and ends up working up both wings anyway. Agree its a bit of a head scratcher for match comittee if Langdon's out though.

I hope they do this next year. I think Riv is behind the 8 ball on fitness and would get blown up on a wing, needs a solid preseason.

He did say that, but things could easily change if we lose Langdon. Be interesting to see what we go with

Yeah he's our depth winger. Hard to see us generating much attack though the wings between him and Jordon though.

Reckon there’s a chance Laurie comes in for debut.

What do others think about Spargo getting the chance to fill the wing role as a one-off? He obviously has a tank, he’s one of our best users.
Not a permanent solution (or need) but probably easier for Bedford/Melksham/Laurie to fill his HFF than try and find another winger this week.

Nib would be a better chance than Spargo id think. Hes probably our second best runner behind Langdon.

Gus or Baker on the wing, no need to reinvent the wheel. Don’t want to keep on moving Gus but needs must and Rivers found some form yesterday. Covered the ground better than he has all year.
