Not sure about Newchurch. I think it makes sense to give him a shot between now and the end of the season now that Rankine is injured. Not sure if it's this week or not.
I'd like to pick Gollant, but he's not a like for like with Rankine either. Tricky selection week as I doubt we will be seeing any unforced changes beyond maybe Crouch out, and there could be a couple of injuries.

With Finals out of the equation I don't understand why Laird isn't off learning how to catch cuttlefish or something.
I think it might be detrimental to him if he’s really tired , potential for injury etc
Just doesn’t look himself last 2 weeks and he needs that explosiveness as it’s his weapon
Could look at playing him as sub for a week and he’d be good at that

I will admit Schoenberg proved he may have turned a corner today and maybe able to take his game to another level.
Gollant should come in. I do think Fogarty isnt doing enough at AFL level right now. Its tough and 90% can be blamed on delivery. But if we want to continue playing this way Gollant is probably the better Aerialist and should come in.
I wouldnt drop McAdam. He is doing some nice things and his speed and footy smarts around the 50 hurt Melbourne and opened up our forward line.

Nicks needs to give the young players priority for the rest of the season. Once the showdown is done, I think sending some experienced players back to the Sanfl and we play the likes of Berry, Bond, Parnell, Borlase etc would pay off long term than just forcing the issue with experienced players.

He isn't a good kick and takes too long to make a decision. The play breaks down when it's in Milera's hands as he isn't instinctual and panics when surrounded in traffic. I wouldn't hesitate in trading him and getting Redman in. I wouldn't play Smith either and Nankervis can easily play his role. Smith hasn't been the same since his last concussion and we should retire him early. Redman and Nank are an upgrade on Milera and Smith.
