ROB's sitting 4th in the yearly coaches votes so he must have been rucking adequately for our head and opposition coach to be giving him those votes. Probably says more about our head coach who gave him those votes and then drops him after one bad performance .I would presume ROB would be sitting top 3 in the clubs B & F also. I haven't seen sauce anywhere near the top of the B & F over the last couple of years if my memory serves me correct.
Crows Leaderboard - Top Five

51 - Brad Crouch
38 - Matt Crouch
32 - Rory Sloane
26 - Reilly O’Brien
26 - Brodie Smith

Yeah don't get me wrong, OVERALL his work has been great, but look at ROB's stats vs Carlton, i think he came out with top ranking points (disposals etc), but in reality we got murdered with his tap work, our clearances were woeful. Our midfield simply looked better with Sauce. Which is more important, getting the ball out of the middle and giving ourselves a chance, with the risk of Grundy running rampant, or risk our midfield getting utterly dominated with superior ruckwork out of the middle and the oppositions forward entries going through the roof?

ROB payed the price for a slow unaccountable midfield led by Campo who has no bloody idea. We never tag, we never setup on the defensive side and most of our mids never chase once the ball is outside of a 5m radius. The fact ROB was our highest contested ball winner quite often says something about our midfield. I bet Campo was the one who iniated his old mate sauce in the side. The sad fact is that he was more than likely hoping for a bad performance from ROB to get the old band back together. He is a cancer at our club.

Do our coaches ever actually do any coaching?

They pretty much pick the same 22 each week with only minimal changes. The opposition, weather conditions and venue aren't considered.

They do very little in terms of planning and coming up with ways to stop the opposition or counter their strategy.

We don't tag.

We don't try to free up our players when they are being tagged.

The gameplan is rigid.

We don't make moves during games, even if a match-up is killing us.

Their response to every question is back the same players or systems in that we do every week.

It doesn't seem like they actually do a lot.

I wonder how many goals fog will need to keep his spot? I'm calling it early. 6 is the number otherwise Jenkins will be jettisoned back in even though he's Pyke's sparring buddy:).

ROB the latest youngster to be punished for being young.

IN: Wright
OUT: A millennial, any millennial.

Collingwood by 28 goals.
Do we have a Wright?

I'm certain that Jacobs now has the spot to lose. That is AFC 101.

After Fogarty doesn't kick 5 goals, expect - "Jenkins experience will be essential if we are to make finals ... Fogarty needs to work on his defensive action."

The only reason JJ will be brought back in is too increase his trade value what are you going to get for a 31 year old SANFL player

Can't believe we'll deny ROB his milestone 20th game.
ROB will get plenty of games when he's old and past it and there's some talented youngster waiting in the wings

We're probably past the melt phase and will just vapour
This is exactly right. We're all liquid at room temperature now.

We've been liquidised by the club

Last Sunday we were +1 for clearances against arguably the best midfield in the AFL. In the two previous weeks we were -25 for clearances. It will not hard for the selectors to justify picking Sauce over Rob.

My concern is that Brodie will be too good for Rob but we already know he will dominate Sauce.

If I were a betting man I would put my money on NO CHANGES.
