i think the clash of jumpers is the least of our worries. id be more worried about getting absolutely rear ended in the middle similar to last week.

Melbourne will wear their traditional home jumper this week, and their indigenous guernsey the following week at Traeger Park against the Giants.

Do not think Sam would be playing VFL this week like Cody will if he is not playing AFL. I agree normally would not think about it, but the cupboard is so bare we are just gifting games to at least 3 players.

Our 2 players with high turnovers last week Bont + Richards (both clearly not fir rotate together)

Playing Gawn this week and a team with decent KPD playing Emmett any further would be silly

Lewis didn't take a single contested mark last week Lobb was recruited as a Forward/Ruck Darcy is out for the year play him there

Davidson and McNeil are no hopers Jacques shouldn't have been dropped and Carmichael is one who needs a taste at AFL level

It's not, it's played over 2 weeks, so each team gets a home game. Melbourne usually wears their indigenous jumper for games at Treager Park regardless of whether it's Sir Doug Nicholls Round or not.

I'm certainly not critical of the team you suggested or your reasonings, but 2 changes will be forced from last week and there is probably 2 or 3 omissions that differ to yours

Sounds like he’s 50/50 at best with the shoulder unfortunately.

Think Jaques will play wing with Cleary pushing Bramble up the ground and Croft back in for Emmett too. Baker & Davo likely outs too along with the injured.

He was injured last week in the game and had his shoulder re-strapped but came back on. He didn't train earlier in the week and had to sit out match simulations today. He might have had a fresh injury to it today but it looks like he just couldn't get through the session.
