No point "dominating" the ruck if the mids and CHFs can't use the taps, or if the taps are all sharked by the other mob's mids.Draper out for them means we should dominate at the ruck at least
Nah much better to keep rewarding Ryan for his recent efforts, much better, keep him and JOM and Hughes and Henry in the team, keep them in, in fact make no changes except dumping Sturt forever ey???Drop Ryan for Worner, wow![]()
He had two other offers on the table.Lol you really think Sturt signed a one year deal with us if he had multiple clubs interested over east???
I didn't like our chances the last couple weeks but I am oddly confident for this one. Having our preferred ruck/fwd structure back in place is massive.Gotta beat these campaigners. Smashed them last year. Amiss and Treacy to combine for Tab's seven goals and we should win in a canter.

Not about the position, it is about the team, the effort and the commitment.Different position altogether.
Erm, there's literally no one better than Ryan on the list for the role he plays.Nah much better to keep rewarding Ryan for his recent efforts, much better, keep him and JOM and Hughes and Henry in the team, keep them in, in fact make no changes except dumping Sturt forever ey???
JOM is garbage and hgasn't produce anything against any decent team, totally wash up player who we just gave a four year contract (plus other stuff) up to get. Repeat, JOM is garbage that adds nothing against any decent side.Erm, there's literally no one better than Ryan on the list for the role he plays.
Henry did his time in the WAFL and was likely 22nd picked this week, the only person replacing Hughes is Chapman, and you're having a lend suggestion JOM is even close to getting dropped.
Some posters have a hard on for Sturt, the reality is that with Darcy back he gets forced out, it doesn't mean he's done, he's literally just outside the 22 and will be the sub.

Parish & Merrett would be easily our best mids this year, if they played for us. Serong stiff, but that’s where we’ve been. Our midfield has been very very disappointing this yearParish 180, Merrett 179, Caldwell 183, Hobbs 183 will take the most midfield minutes for us - Perkins 188 and stringer 192 have really been getting minutes for defensive roles against bigger midfielders rather than exploiting smaller midfielders. All that to say, I don’t think your height will be an issue this week.
That doesn’t surprise me. He has loads of potential and just needs more game time.He had two other offers on the table.
Yeah you're right. We should replace one of Hughes, JOM, or Ryan with Sturt. Good thinking. You are anything but a Sturt defender.
Bloke kicks almost half our score, is the third highest tackler and gets dropped the following week in favour of keeping in same old favourites of old mate coach in Hughes, JOM and Ryan. Absolute ******* joke of a selection, same shite that has been happening since round 20 last year.
JOM is garbage and hgasn't produce anything against any decent team, totally wash up player who we just gave a four year contract (plus other stuff) up to get. Repeat, JOM is garbage that adds nothing against any decent side.
Henry has done nothing despite being gifted multiple games this year.
Ryan's "role" this year has been to hobble around, drop off and fail to contest, and whinge at other players. He was one of our greatest defenders, he isn't now - as Broughton, Duffield and SHill show, when the end hits it hits fast. Trying to pretend that your failings can't be bettered by anyone else on the list is just garbage.
You just dropped a bloke who kicked 49% of our score, and was our third highest tackler.
No "hard on" here - just a desire to reward actual on ground performance after the most miserable pathetic performance of the last two and a half years - yet we take the best performer overall and dump him just so Hughes, Henry, Ryan and JOM can stay in the side. Garbage selection.
Simple question for you and the rest of the pro JL crowd - have we ever in our history ever dumped, for non disciplinary reasons, a player who scored nearly half our score and laid our third most tackles? Ever, in our entire history?
Follow up question 1 - has any other AFL side ever done that (dumped, for non disciplinary reasons, a player who scored nearly half the team's score and laid the third most tackles for the team)??
Follow up question 2 - has any VFL side ever done that (dumped, for non disciplinary reasons, a player who scored nearly half the team's score and laid the third most tackles for the team)??
Follow up question 3 - has any WAFL side ever done that (dumped, for non disciplinary reasons, a player who scored nearly half the team's score and laid the third most tackles for the team)??
Go do some research and get back to me. Hint - it is a ******* short list.

I'd imagine both would be gone by now.He had two other offers on the table.
Toby Greene tore him a new one tbf.Drop Ryan for Worner, wow![]()
ahhh you must see the game differently if you think JOM should be droppedBut dropsie Hughes, dropsie JOM and dropsie Ryan can stay in the side??
JOM had just come back from suspension and the bye..
Omg this is hilarious. I'd say it was brilliant if you weren't so serious. Raging like it's a Facebook comments section. Pure emotion and zero rationality. Good passion.
JOM was awesome vs. Melbourne as just one example. He's definitely had his struggles, but he's had some great games too.
What universe are you in suggesting Henry has been gifted games? He literally hasn't, he earned them and has had a few games where he hasn't performed. He was in our top ten on the ground last weekend.
Saying Sturt kicked 50% of our score is a perfect example of how stats can be misleading and used to make poor arguments. We had a historically bad game; claiming a guy is awesome cause he kicked 2 goals is um, I'll just say unfounded.
Did you know, that the player who kicks the first has kicked 100% of their teams score until the next goal is kicked!
I don't know if you realise, but you're argument is as dumb as the one above.
Greene has done that you a lot of blokes, he's one of the best in the leagueToby Greene tore him a new one tbf.
Also as much as I hate Ryan I'm not calling for him to be dropped. I'm just saying if he was dropped he's not irreplaceable.
And it would be Hughes for Ryan and Worner for hughes. Not Worner for Ryan.
Doesn't change that Ryan looks fat and unfit. There's getting destroyed by good players, and there's getting destroyed by good players and not being able to keep pace with them for a single contest.Greene has done that you a lot of blokes, he's one of the best in the league

Ryan is probably going to finish top 5 in the doig this year.Nah much better to keep rewarding Ryan for his recent efforts, much better, keep him and JOM and Hughes and Henry in the team, keep them in, in fact make no changes except dumping Sturt forever ey???
