I think its not a bad idea to give the younger players I few extra breaks as we go on. Jacques will be straight back in

Love the changes, Jaques a shame but just managed so makes sense to bring the young ones along slowly and give him a break. Bramble can play his more natural position this week and may be a decent match up for Moore.

Gallagher has had some good form at VFL level and deserves another look in, he's still young and every chance to improve some of the issues he has had previously.

Hopefully Ed is right to go because that would be huge.

Surely rest him against Essendon and play him against the Hawks. He’s in our best 22

May be sore off a 6 day break and need the rest. Managed could mean a number of things. He'll be back.

Not convinced Gallagher is fit. Played limited time in Round 1, then a bye, then a reasonable but not noticeable game in Round 3. Interesting selection. Also not sure Hynes did enough to warrant his return either.
I suppose with the injuries somebody has to fill the breach.

He’s aggressive, extremely quick and mobile and has a great defensive work ethic.

I think the potential is there for him to be a handful and offer something quite different to the norm.

My only real worry is that he’s a bit undersized for the ruck and hasn’t had much experience there (or at this level at all).

Could be one of those break out games where he knocks everyone’s socks off, or a total fizzer we joke about for years.
I'm not convinced he attends too many CBAs, we could well have Darcy/Lobb taking some CBAs and Emmett then swaps to play around the ground.

We do tend to value transition more than hit-outs anyway.

I remember one B Quinlan taking the game by the scruff on debut.
Been a while since then, time for another one!
I remember Cam Faulkner cutting loose against North on debut and Patrick Wiggins dominating against Melbourne, including dribbling a goal from the boundary.

Were these not enough for you?
