Foster

Ballantyne
Headland
Johnson
Ruffles

we lacked some spice up forward today & Des, Ruffles & Ballas should provide plenty of that versus Pies

Johnson for Bradley is a gimme...Foster just hasn't done enough & Ruffles is in good form...Peakey needs to be dominating Wafl games prior to be being reinstated

2 1st year players out - 2 in...if Grover gets suspended, I suspect Bradley may hold his place & Johnson may go to defence

Why drop Pearce and Walters?

I agree on Foster and Bradley, but I would like to see Mundy be made an example of as well.

I doubt Ruffles will make his debut in the same week as Balla.

Out:
Bradley
McPharlin

Ballantyne
Johnson

If Grover is supsended bring Des in.

Save Ruffles for next week :)

Would love to see McPharlin dropped to be honest. Have gone from thinking he was underated league wide to thinking that he looks like he doesn't even want to play.

I thought Bradley was pretty good today, the one handed hold on the ball whilst being tackled was pretty funny and surprisingly skillful. Foster was alright and I do like the look of Walters, I'd like to see him get another game.

In:

Ballantyne (I just wanna see him play!)
Johnson (Versatility needed)
Headland (I like him deep forward)

I'm not sure who goes out but probably Pearce, Kepler out to bring Johnson back in and I guess it would have to be Walters who is dropped back. I'm loving these young kids though and I want to keep watching them.

Pretty sure Johnson won't be fit.

And Grover will be found guilty of striking, not sure on his prior record whether he will get suspended though ... often those midriff punches get a week reduced to a reprimand with guilty plea. Completely stupid act.

I doubt Foster will be dropped. He is one of those guys that will be given an extended run to see whether or not they are worth keeping next year

Pearce and Walters had stinkers. They've had a taste of AFL and they look like promising lads, but if you've got players that can come in and offer your team more than do it. You shouldn't play kids just for the sake of playing them (plus you got enough with Hill, DeBoer (really impressed with him today) and Suban).

Johnson, Headland and Ballantyne definitely offer more than Kepler (please delist), Foster and Walters.

Not sure what Ruffles does and how well he does it, that decision is for you WAFL followers out there.

Grover should be right IMO.

Out- McPharlin
Pearce

In - Ballantyne
Ruffles

McPharlin was worse than useless today, his kicking was abysmal and when we are kicking for goals 25m out right in frount Fremantle need a talented player to do the job. He clearly is not doing it. Ballantyne replaces the out of form forward.

Pearce has done little wrong but did not get into the game enough today.
Time to bring in the skilled rookies in Ruffles. His speed and skills will prove very useful in future. I think that we have picked up a little winner right here.

Our other young players DeBour, Hill,Broughton were excellent and showed our senior players how to go about their game. Well done Harvey for playing the youngsters. Please keep it up!

Out: McPharlin, Pearce

In: Johnson, Hedland, or Ballantyne if either Johnson or Hedland don't get up.

McPharlin played one of the worst games Ive seen from an AFL footballer today.

People don't seem to be aware that Pearce strained a hamstring, so he might miss because of that. Not sure of the severity.

Dropping McPharlin and having Grover suspended won't hurt so much, because the Pies only really have Cloke, who Tarrant can take care of. There is Anthony as well, but he might be injured. I don't like Dodd, but he might be an option there if Anthony plays. It is the midget brigade like Didak, Davis, Dick, Medhurst (maybe), etc that we have to worry about.

I'd bring in Headland, Ballantyne and Ruffles.

I thought Campbell was awful today, the guy just has no footy smarts. So many times we had guys streaming forward and he just didn't no where to lead. I also remember one instance where Pav won a quick clearance but his opponent marked uncontested because he was playing from behind. Maybe give him a couple more games to prove himself although I don't really see the point. We desperately need to draft some talls this year.

Out:
Walters
Bradley (for good)
Campbell
In:
Johnson (if fit, we've really missed him I think)
Headland (if fit)
Ballantyne (if fit)

As has been noted McPharlin was dreadful but I would give him another game based on our lack of talls and the fact that he was coming off injury. I don't know what the hell has happened to him this year, he was in the AA squad last year.

Ballantyne

Tough one but we need a more effective forward line. If Grover is suspended Pearce should hold he's spot

Mayne and Johnson to come in ASAP

These young kids look great

Why are poeple saying Fossie should be out? I thought he did some really good things today and seems to be improving as time goes by.

OUT - Pearce, Campbell

In - Ballantyne, Headland.

McPharlin wont be dropped but needs a swift kick up the arse... not good enough at all this year and his game today was crapola to say the least.

Just a simple swap of some rookies for me. Walters will be a very good player, and it's good that he has had some exposure. But now that Ballantyne is fit, they can swap over. Pearce is only out because of his hamstring, I'd have kept him otherwise.

I would drop Suban for a couple of reasons. In my opinion he often goes missing, and has yet to have a really big match for Fremantle. I think he might benefit from going back to the WAFL, and hopefully having a couple of big games running through the midfield. Also, I wanted to give Ruffles a chance. And if the reports are anything to go by, Ruffles is one player who will just keep running and wont go missing.

Against Collingwood, with their small forward line, Grover getting suspended might work in our favour. I doubt he would get dropped, and him missing would mean that McPharlin would have to stay back. I hate switching players between attack and defence, it never works and I think McPharlin has shown that this year.

And I would prefer Headland to play a week in the WAFL first, but if he does come in, it would be in place of Thornton. Despite Thornton playing reasonably well up forward, him and Headland would play a similar role.

So, in essence, McPharlin, Campbell and Mundy who were the worst we had, get a free pass?

Worst game I have seen Elvis play, ever.

Hopefully MJ is back soon, and please god let Mayne finally be ready to play soon.

Agree to a point but lacked some accountability, was torn a new one by Byrnes. But I would not drop him.
