OK, so I guess that means he'll definitely be playing against Adelaide...
Yes! Although we should give the seconds a run to rest a few.

Wingard looked flat and slow after half time, could barely walk let alone run, wonder what he is carrying?

Cows board are worried that Tex has dislocated his shoulder.
A leg injury wouldn't be a good look, could be an inflammation of the old injury and mean a long stint on the sidelines. But there have been incredible leaps in treating injuries, used to be one did your career, like the Barrie Robran/Leigh Matthews injury. These days the injury he got would mean a long time out but he could have 3 or 4 in his lifetime and keep coming back. Not good... Never like the elite to miss games. Especially after an ACL.
i actually like Mitchells game, probably one of, if not his best for the club. I thought he added a lot of intensity around the ball and he laid some great tackles. Of course there were some skill errors but not a material amount. I wouldn't mind seeing him play again next week.
I'm keen to see what Ah Chee can do in a full game. It may not be next week but I'm hoping an opportunity presents itself during the season. He deserves a full run based on what he's shown so far as a sub.
Assuming White is still hobbling and we're looking for a bit of pace how's Amon going for the Magpies, seen his name regularly in the bests for the Magpies but haven't heard his name much since preseason ended.
We are going ok when we think it's better he sits it out. Slight nick maybe one week allows it to heal but with 2 weeks we are certain. Plus we have other players we want to see have a turn.Saw Gray at West lakes yesterday (I obviously cracked a stiffy) he was looking pretty fit, can't see him missing out on the Showdown
Poor call he was great against North last week, nearly got us through a prelim last year & was borderline AA in 2013, if I'm picking between him & Neade it's a pretty easy decision.
On his day he's one of the best lockdown forwards in the comp, didn't notice Suckling much last night but everyone always focuses on his 'flopping'.
Did you go to the North game. I had a good view behind goals so watched him closely. He may have had lots of possessions but I would say he was involved in at least 6 turnovers that resulted in North scoring. He stuffed so many opportunities that hurt us the other way. He cant kick more than 35m. He flys for marks 1-1 and most of the time his opponent recovers quicker and this leads to a turnover. He is not quick but he does work hard. Impey and Neade in the near future are far better prospects. He's had an ordinary start to the year but seems to be a certain starter every week. He's anything but solid in his current form. But people will say I have no idea. That's the beauty of footy. We all see different things in players.
Ryder on the other hand is a Rolls Royce. Everything he does is class and he's such a smart player. He's wonderful to watch and a great pick up
Haha, I browsed through it myself after the game... and it's amusing at after 1 Loss, they are ripping into the team - such quotes likeCows board are worried that Tex has dislocated his shoulder.
After the North game the players came back out for a warm down and they looked like the walking wounded. That makes the win so much more impressive. Didn't stay for the warm down this week but expect it was much the same after a very tough gameA few players were limping a bit late in the game but that's very normal with a game like that. They absolutely ran themselves into the ground in breakneck fashion against the most experienced, hardened team in the AFL.
The only thing Wingard was carrying was a massive workload that saw him winning some ridiculous clearances and contested ball. Chad is a born midfield jet and i can't wait to see more of him playing in his rightful position this year. He stepped up to give us the mercurial clearance machine we were missing in Robbie.
I think a few here would be shocked to see the physical state of most of our players in the 24 hours after all matches. Like a war zone I'm told. We'll be good to go next week.
Surprised at the kindness being handed to Mitchell from some on here. We were all begging for him to be subbed off during the third quarter. Had a couple of highlights, but most of his kicks were helicopters that got more height than length, and ended up on the chest of a Hawthorn player.
Out: Mitchell
In: Gray
