Hill at the moment can't deal with the number 1 tag and when he try's to inject himself is just leading his man to the ball.

OUT: Roberton (useless), McPhee (champ), Hinkley (girl)

IN: Anthony, Crowley, Mellington

LOL. Officially one of the biggest crabs on our list. Will definitely be delisted at the end of the year.

No idea about outs and ins. Just stop with the 4th quarter fadeouts! Watch Carlton run over us next week.

This is the story of our season!

It was very evident tonight and in the Derby.

Without stating the obvious Pav back in the forward line would be a good start against Carlton.

Very good point. I noticed that in the derby as well, our movement to create space for others to lead into is non-existent whilst opposition seem to have a well-drilled pattern to create 1 or 2 leads to honour everytime creating one on ones.

I'm not sure who our forward coach is but they need to start working on something different.

I get the feeling that our players are trying to help each other out too much instead of just backing each other in.

Out
Roberton
Mcphee
Hinkley

In
Mundy replaces Hinkley
Anthony replaces Mcphee
Mellington,Pitt,Crighton to replace Roberton.
None are defenders like Roberton so it just means Broughton/Duffman have to spend more time down back which is a good thing as it should help us get it out of there.

Keps stays 1 more game to find form/no fit replacements an need him to backup ruck for Clarke

Who should we play on Betts? Because Grover will get r*ped...

I think Broughton would be good.

Bad luck last night gangsters, despite losing my respect for Fremantle grew a bit last night.

I pretty much wanted you to lose going into the game because well... your fremantle. But after rapist kicked his first goal i couldn't help but go for dockers to be honest.

Zac Clarke was awesome. Always thought he was just a wannabe naitanui with the way Harvey plays him in the Mid and everything and i never rated him, but to his credit he's proved me wrong. Good stuff matey.

Too many crabs in your team. I realize you have injuries so you have no choice, but feel free to play Roberton, Hinkley, and Pearce against us any day.

Give Mcphee a medal for sparking the team. Good luck!

Mellington has been our best sub this year, Roberton is one of the worst decisions.Freo need to hit the gym with some players because this core strength stuff will only get us so far.
Last night we had the Freo passengers on board, and most of the blame is with the coaching staff.
The ins for Carlton are the same for St Kilda, Mellington, Bucovaz, Faulks, Anthony, big bodies.
Harvey needs to play some youth, and mould them into how he played the game. Some players look like they need a rest, we have to introduce youth
to inject some energy and excitement, give the supporters something to look forward to next year.

For my part I think we will beat Carlton next week - we always seem to play well against them. And then we will scrape into the 8.

Out : McPhee ( sus) , Mayne ( give a break )
In: Mundy, Anthony ( give him a decent chance - we need a target up front )

Despite the fadeout ( remember 3 6-day breaks in a row?) some good signs. Zac shows he is something special. Mzungu is finding his feet and Barlows first half was sensational.

No point in swinging the axe on the likes of Roberton, Pearce etc. They are young and will take time, both will be good players in the end.

Season on the line now guys. If Mundy and Sandi are ready, roll the dice. Carlton are going to come off a 6 day break this time, and they have to travel. No excuses.

Edit - 7 day break. But we get one more day. :)

Gutted last night but watched the replay this morning and was proud of the boys even though the last quarter was dreadful.Zac is gonna be a beauty :). We WILL beat Carlton...

Out..Mcphee, Hinkley, MJ
In..Mundy, Mellington, JA

Hope JA comes out and has a real crack in the wafl later today. It'll be great to see Suban get back up to speed, at the moment he's looking like a guy that hasn't played footy all year and I don't know the stats but Bradley didn't seem to have a great night in the ruck?

So my ideal changes depending on fitness

Outs: Mcphee Bradley Hinkley
Ins: Mundy Sandilands (maybe Griffen?) Anthony

Add in Roberton if someone can give a performance in the wafl to provide half a reason to.

Just watched Hill half chase Jones.

**** a duck.

Saw that. Pointed it out to my fiancee (who isn't really interested in footy) and even she asked what the hell he was doing. Clear as day. Hopefully Harvs plays that to him over and over during the week.

Also wonder if anyone else saw another passage of play where Dal Santo deliberately fell into the knee of Lower while running out of their back line. Was worried that Lower damaged his knee as he hopped around for a few paces afterwards. Watched it a couple of times on slo-mo and am sure it was deliberate. Dirty little pr!ck. Anyone else see it?

Out: McPhee (suspended) Roberton Hinkley

In: Sandilands Mundy Mellington (everyone else injured)

Even if they aren't fully fit, our two best players will offer so much more than most others. It's obvious we roll over in last quarters, so we need a good 3 quarter effort from those two.
So confused why we even brought Hinkley in, and Roberton just doesn't look like doing anything ever

Agree wholeheartedly.

Thought MJ played a really solid game last night. And Duffield played much better with the opportunity to take the kick outs again. Thought both played well.

Out:
McPhee, Bradley

In:
Mundy, Sandi

enough said....

Robbo and Hinkley surely deserve to be kicked out? Both passengers. Added nothing. At least Hinkley's excuse was that he'd only been a passenger for this game. Robbo has done bugger all for a few weeks now.

I would play Hill on Garlett or Betts. He has played best off half back.

Ibbo should play on Judd, Mzungu on Murphy and Mayne to forward tag Gibbs.

In McPhee's absence, I would rather Broughton on Judd, but agree with the rest of your suggestions on matchups. I'm more worried about how we cope with Kruezer and Walker - the Egirls, Hawkers and Saints have all smashed us in contested marks in their forward 50, and I don't think we match up on Carlton's taller forwards any better.

Change-wise, I'd assume McFree is gone for at least 4 weeks, and I'd drop Hinkley and Roberton.

I'd bring in Mundy if fit, and give Faulks a go as well as I think we need the extra height down back. Mellington or Pitt complete the ins, depoending on who is better at training and WAFL this week. If Mundy ain't fit Crowley comes back in.

With not many good reports from the WAFL, will the changes simply be
IN: Sandilands, Mundy, Crowley
OUT: McPhee (Susp), Hinkley, Roberton

The only other you could drop from the team is Pearce, but that's not from a lack of trying. We need a bit of pace to go with Garlett, Yarran etc

Did anyone see how bad Mellington's injury was? I would love him to get back in this side to replace McPhee with a miniture version.

I did think that there would be no room in the team for Clarke and Kepla when Sandi comes back - but now i' not sure.

Marking targets are crucial to the flooding and having Sandi, Clarke, Kepla and Fyfe about 60-70 m out from our defence when kicking out spread right across the ground will give plenty of headaches to the other teams.

Clarke may just well be another cox and able to damage the scoreboard.

I'd much rather see a fwd line with Pav, Kepla and Clarke than Mayne who i reckon they should run more up the ground...

I reckon not too many changes this week - just bring in our 1&2 from last years B&F!!

How did Crowley go yesterday? From the small amount of radio that I caught, they were scathing in their assessment of his disposals. But as I say, I only heard bits and pieces.

Providing he went ok, I suppose you could bring him back in to replace Clayton. Couldn't hurt either way. They seem as bad as each other at the moment.

With Mcphee possibly gone ,a big body will be needed midfield so Crowley will come in to hammer Judd,
Ins Crowley,Mundy and Sandi who has been training so fingers crossed he,s right
Outs Roberton,Mcphee,Hinkley
