Very deliberate elbow to the face of#20[Armitage] :o

..didn't catch him with a pointy elbow [luckily for both involved], but did solidly connect with his upper arm against Armitage's head,, and more importantly got off the ground to do so which is always frowned upon.. ..in his favour is Armitage was not hurt.. ..but still only a good record will save him.. ..whats it currently like..?..

I think the opposite. Sandi more likely than mundy.

Seppo overheard in the change room after the Saints game that Mundy actually passed a late fitness test. Based on that you'd think he'd be good to go. Harvey has stated that both will join training this week.

We'll know soon either way (re Mcpharlin), suprised Mcphee only got a week. Judging by the wafl reports and possible injuries to JA and Mellington its looking more and more like the only changes will be Mundy and Sandi/Griffen if fit.

Would be really worried about Mundy coming straight back but if fit enough it has to be risked. Give Clarke some support and we're not out of it just yet.

Injury List as at 8 August 2011

Matt de Boer - knee: 7 weeks
Jonathon Griffin - hip: test
Roger Hayden- leg: 5 weeks
Josh Mellington - elbow: 4-6 weeks :thumbsd:
Viv Michie - foot: season
Anthony Morabito - knee: season
David Mundy - leg: test :thumbsu:
Rhys Palmer - ankle: 1 week
Gavin Roberts - quad: 1-2 weeks
Tim Ruffles - knee: 1-2 weeks
Aaron Sandilands- toe: test :thumbsu:
Michael Walters - knee: 1-2 weeks

So Mellington is out for the season, not a bad thing. Should play more games in 2012. Saw de Boer out and about on the weekend, could barely walk...

a worrying potential change for round 21... maybe someone can confirm for me.

carlton out of navy blue, and into baby blue? :/

Don't know why ,but I thought the game was a night game.
I'm pretty confident the game should be played in dry ,but with a 2 or 3 goal breeze.Definitely some confidence on here now that sandi & mundy will
play.Jeez we are due for a win.

I would play Hill on Garlett or Betts. He has played best off half back.

Ibbo should play on Judd, Mzungu on Murphy and Mayne to forward tag Gibbs.

Dont get sucked in with Betts.

He's a leading marking forward, not a crumber. (Just a really really small one with really really big shorts)

:o

IMO Betts would win that matchup; Hill probably isnt that good defensively.

Spot on... always wondered why Eddie wore such big shorts!

Scott (Kangaroos) was the first coach to really cotton on to it this year.

He plays as a teeny tiny lead up full forward mostly. His crumbing aint bad either, but he gets the majority of his goals as a lead up marking forward.

Garletts our more traditional 'front and centre' crumber type.
