Is there any comment on who will have access to tickets (other than Melbourne Metro obviousl?

Will there be an allocation for our non-metro members? It would be great if we can get 1-2k of our fans in there.

Must reside in Greater Geelong, Surf Coast, Queenscliffe or Colac Otway council areas to attend. No doubt they'll be working through the finer points for each club, there'll be an allocation to Bulldogs members but at a guess it'll be a small % of the 7000.

We've got 46k odd members in total, perhaps <5k of which are down that way?

Any news when they go on sale?

A crowd of up to 7000 fans will be allowed to attend Friday night's Geelong v Western Bulldogs clash at GMHBA Stadium, after the Victorian Government announced that COVID-19 restrictions would be eased.

However, all spectators must be club members and live in the regional areas close to Geelong, acting Premier James Merlino said on Wednesday afternoon.

No Geelong or Western Bulldogs fans who live in Melbourne will be allowed to attend the game.

The Club is awaiting confirmation of ticketing allocations for Bulldogs’ members living in and around the Geelong region, and will communicate information to those members in due course.

This is strange. Do you think a marathon runner is concerned about whether or not they pass an opponent at the 25km mark?

I know obviously Geelong won't care if they finish the round ahead of us, but it's strange some of their supporters appear to be fixated on this.

Funny how they havent done the percentages for if they get flogged
