Amazing the turnaround on BF after one win!

Haven't you heard the sky is falling??

But in all seriousness we beat one of the bottom 4 teams, if it gives us confidence to take us up the ladder all good but i worry it's a false confidence and as such we will keep the wrong personnel in. Time will tell, but as a supporter i hope we smash the next several games spring boarding us into finals and the first team in half a century to win after losing the first 3 games.............................. hope............

Nothing wrong with a bit of hope after beating the Saints.

Afterall the mob down the road have been suggested as being a top four side after beating the teams that sit 18th 17th and 15th on the ladder with one win between them this year.

Amazing the turnaround on BF after one win!

In the space of 5 weeks we have St.Kilda, GWS, Dogs, Melbourne and the bye. Ridiculous to draw the bottom 4 last year in 4 weeks, such a snooze fest. Dogs should be a challenge in Melbourne though. Absolutely hate these misguiding wins.

Bulldogs flogged us last year in Melbourne, by no means a certain win.

Wish there more people on this board who weren't constantly negative............
We have a couple of posters who wouldn't find anything positive to say if the club won the premiership three times in a row, then traded Brodie Martin for picks #1, #2 and #3 in the draft.

Things also haven't been helped by the board's collective decision to appoint a Collingwood supporter (the Adelaide board's biggest troll) as moderator.

In short, I agree with you. It would be nice to see some positivity around here occasionally, rather than the never ending stream of unremittingly negative posting.

Vader, I must say that your overwhelming positivity towards our players is genuinely heart warming!
I've been very positive about Matt Crouch - and I'm definitely positive about Lynch replacing Martin. :D

In fairness to the negative nellies we have finished outside the 8 in 3 of the past 4 years with this year likely to be the 4th in 5 - season just about ruined by round 3.

We have been a serious contender 4 times since 1998 and none of those 4 years saw us in a GF.

Take out the expansion sides and its only us, Richmond and W. Bulldogs that have that dubious honour since 1998.

For a side that claims heavyweight status we have been chronically under achieving. I think people have every right to be peeved and... Negative

To be fair - we have only won 6 finals in 16 years.

1 in 12 away from home.

I doubt care what the sycophants say, we need a complete clean out and start again. We continue to carry way too many players who can only perform against crap trans and then they excite the board and selectors to keep them on.

I'll repeat - 6 finals win in 16 years.

Fremantle in 2012
Essendon in 2009
Fremantle in 2006
Port Adelaide in 2005
west Coast in 2003
Melbourne in 2002.

Given that GWS have Mumford, Shaw and Hunt out and have an extremely inexperienced team I predict we'll see Grigg back and possibly CEY as well.

Perfect time to give Rutten and rest and give Reilly a run in the twos.

I thought the game against the saints was the perfect chance to give Rutten a spell, but it did not happen...
maybe now with a win on the board...

have to win the first. our current form does not suggest we are guaranteed to win any of these.

That's the good thing about being poor last season. We got an easy draw in 2011 and 2012 too.

Lynch for Martin the only change. Reilly on notice, still has plenty to offer if we turn our season around.
Really looking forward to see what our side will look like when we get the likes of B.Crouch, Walker, Otten, Henderson (later) back.

Am I confused or not but is Carl a Collingwood supporter.
Everyone is a critic and it is easy to be a critic and thats the way it is .
But seriously how could you not be a critic after that massively bad start to season and last qtr capitulations along with the club leadership debacles that seem to happen weekly lately .
Yep when close to full team we have great potential , but going to be restricted in efforts to get elusive GF berth due to massive restrictions .
So with hopefully further tidy up of game plan and strategies we will have a lot more to cheer about that many other clubs.

Think Grigg needs to spend one week in the SANFL before coming back for the Bulldogs game.

Why?

He doesn't deserve to be dropped. In the first 3 weeks, he was in our best players.

Someone will have to come out for him sometime, unless you are hoping for an injury or poor form.

Disagree. I thought he was very good against Geelong, but then dropped off considerably against Port and Sydney.

Absolutely someone will need to come out for him. I just think considering he missed a week with an injury he should come back through the 2's.

Would love for it to be Reilly but can't see it happening. For mine we already have 2 good, in form rebounders in Jaensch and Smith, our big guys are playing well and Browns doing the lock down jobs to good effect so what exactly is the need for Radar ??

Otten trained very well this morning according to another thread, is he a shock inclusion or does he go into the SANFL side
