Out: Hannan, JJ
In: Naughton, crozier

I just cant see it with Hannan. I don't know if he's just unfit this season but to me he is not AFL standard. It's not even like he turning the ball over, he doesn't attack the footy when it's his turn to go and I'm not sure what his role is. He needs vfl form before being selected again.

JJ or even Wallis, they're cooked unfortunately. JUH was clearly nervous but no worse than anyone else.

Those 3 plus Scott were all down today, but Scott I like his off the ball stuff.

Naughton is a no-brainer and crozier admittedly I didn't see but I want him back. West possibly too.

OUT: JUH Hannan

IN: Naughton McLean

Scott close but gets another week because he has runs on the board and has proven he can play good footy. Hannan hasn't shown enough.

If JUH is to stay in the side, we should move Young back to take Cordy's spot and have Bruce as 2nd ruck, keeping English/Naughton/JUH as the talls. Wouldn't mind seeing how that goes.

McSteal a big chance to come in I think, need pace badly.

I don't see how MC can claim selection integrity and leave Hannan and Wallis in the side. I'm fans of them both but they offer very little in the positions they're being played, at least on the evidence of the past few games. I also can't see how JJ is a positive where he's currently being played.

Obvious in is Naughton, but rather than drop JUH I'd like to see Hannan out and play JUH alongside the two genuine KPFs. Wallis out for our best small forward option given VFL form and injury.

Out Scott, Hannan, Wallis

in Lipinski, McLean, Naughton

Scott played wing and half and gathered 8 possessions. i watch him closely and he offers very little. His pressure is ok but does not get the pill and his handballs quite often to players who are already under pressure. Hannan and Wally also dI’d not get enough of the ball. I feel Scott is held to lower standards than others. JUH quite often got the right position, nerves just got the better of him but I saw enough to give him another game.
Not Lipinsky, he doesnt stand up in the AFL anymore, think he’s trade bait

Out. Garcia, Young and Hannan.
In. Crozier, Sweet and West.

I still would leave Wallis for experience and hardness and JUH for experience.
I thought that with Wallis too but he looks too slow to get to the ball and when he does he drops chest marks now. McLean is for him IMO

Bevo basically said in the pressor that the forward line cost us the game (dysfunctional), too many changes there in recent weeks, and JUH probably wouldnt play next week (reading between the lines). Sounds like he'll go for role players so McNeil, Naughton in.

In: McNeil, Naughton
Out: Wallis, JUH

In: McNeil, Naughton Mclean a decent assistant coach that maybe one day challenge Bevo in his love in selecting really really good VFL players that just try really hard every game but will always just be great VFL players Hannan Scott etc
Out: Wallis, Scott Hannan

Can’t believe the calls to drop Garcia. One of the few to apply some serious heat and pressure throughout the game. Reminds me of a young better skilled clay smith.

Is Hannan the new Gardner? Had plenty of blokes play a similar game to him who seem to be not getting the same level of heat. Be interesting to see his pressure stats and what Bevo is asking him to do...

I didn’t think he was that bad, but in saying that, I don’t think we can fit him and Wallis in the same forward line. I’d rather play mcneil.

I liked your post but this guy wants a quiet word out the front of the pub ...

Out: Hannan, Wallis
In: Dunkley, Nauhgton

Have noticed Wallis is playing like a guy who knows he needs to perform, and not in a good way. Twice in the last couple of weeks he could have given a handball to a player for an open goal but kicked it himself, reckon the old Wally gives it.

Wallis was horrid for 3 quarters v North. The 3 goals kept him in for an extra week but outside of one cracking goal from outside 50 I saw nothing that made me want him in the 22v swans. This week was worse. I love Wally and I love what his family bring to the swans but he - is - done.

How far away is Martin from playing again. He is very important to our structure. Not sure if Sweet is going to make the grade.

Wallis is too slow and not enough of a threat. Allows the oppo defender to play off him and impact or get involved in chains on the turnover. We were always outnumbered and that comes down to work rate
