The SANFL forward line looks good with Eddy, Howard and Monfries in it. Even Krak!

Marshall named on the wing. Watch out Hoff!

Rapt for Atley... hopefully he gets a run.

What about the ins for wet toast though... Priddis, LeCras, Hern, Lycett, Schofield.

Crickey

Cannot see Drew handling the rigors of AFL yet, even though he has done well against men in lower divisions. Doesn't look solid enough yet to me. Don't see where he fits in this team either, being a playmaker more so than a defender. Won't fit at all!

Skills look good so hopefully next year.

I'm guessing Chad will go forward with Atley/Drew to go in the middle. Otherwise I can't see any net benefit in our changes. I guess we'll have to wait and see how they line up.

Look up Eddy's stats in his 3 AFL games this year, the coaches obviously don't think he's ready for another callup yet. I don't think anyone could argue that those 3 games were anywhere near AFL standard.

34 goals in 10 games since doesn't cut the mustard?

Monfries was never getting selected straight off an injury and without particularly brilliant SANFL form, that would be really silly. I have my doubts that he'll ever be back but if he goes well in the SANFL this week he should be considered.

Atley and Drew will probably fly across and miss the SANFL game irrespective of whether they make the final AFL cut.

Ken and the team will get what they deserve, it's as simple as that.

I blame Justin Westhoff's perceived versatility, and the requirement for Trengove to play as second ruck, as major contributors to the confused selections. The over-rating of Jarman Impey is another problem for us.

Until the coaches can wipe Westhoff, Trengove and Impey's names off their undroppable lists, we will be left with a very unbalanced, impotent forward line.

Consider this: Dixon, Trengove, Robbie and Sam Gray, Impey, Neade and Boak are the players forward of centre. How many of those would you feel comfortable kicking at goal to win you a game after the siren. Boak maybe. The rest, no. Other than Dixon and Robbie, how many would you back in to take a leading or contested mark against a similarly sized opponent? What about to snap a crumbing goal?

Finally, tackling thin air is overrated. That group as a collective is unpolished, lacking forward smarts, and not that good at actually applying tackling pressure.

Change the farken forward line Kern.

Great to see that Atley is getting a look in - really hope he plays, very exciting! Assume chad is going forward which is a very good thing.

Look up Eddy's stats in his 3 AFL games this year, the coaches obviously don't think he's ready for another callup yet. I don't think anyone could argue that those 3 games were anywhere near AFL standard.

Eddy had 3 goals and 5 goal assists from his 3 games. The bloke in your avatar has 3 goals and 1 goal assist from his 3 games. So putting aside that we desperately need a second KPF and we don't at all need a fourth defensively minded forward, the stats argument isn't the big hit that you thought it might be.

They were never picking eddy. They prefer the 2 tall setup and they're never dropping dixon or trengove.

Give up. They've made their bed.

They "considered" Eddy. **** off.
We considered Goals were important.....but something something defence.....something something pressure acts.
