Collingwood and Richmond - who has the greater supporter base

Just a reminder: Terms like “Minnowmond”, “Shrinkingwood”, “Dwindlewood” and the like belong on the bay, not the main board. Same goes for referring to either team as a minnow, when clearly neither fits that description.

So finals attendance is up 15% since 2017 yet pies could only manage ~2% larger crowd than our corresponding match 6 years ago?
You expected us to increase your 94,000 crowd by 15%?
You expected us therefore to exceed the ground capacity?
Try again.
I expected more than a 2000 bigger crowd considering giants have ~13k more members than they did and pies have an extra 34k members than we did in 2017....

Thats just common sense.

The largest Finals crowd outside of Grand Finals in 16 years.
Of course that previous Prelim crowd of 98,000 in 2007 was a Collingwood game as well.
Try again.

If that was Essendon last night vs Giants we’d get 99k in there easy.

Pie fans have been ever so desperate for a long time hoping everyone else will acknowledge their fantasy about being the biggest club in the land.
Facts are RFC EFC and blues are bigger. Collingwood just have a cult following and members actually turn up to most games.

You seriously are not serious about what you have just said?

Every statistical data whether it is memberships, attendance’s and fan surveys shows that in 2023 Collingwood is the biggest club In Australia.

94k in 2017 is more impressive the crowds are higher now than back than.
Please...it was the first time the Tigers played in Melbourne with a chance to make a GF since 1995. Every single Tiger was desperate to be there.

Pies playing in PFs is pretty boring really, 11 in the last 20 seasons.

And even without that once in a lifetime scenario (for many Tigers that is what 2017 was) the Pies still get bigger crowds.

For one premiership. That's kinda funny
What is funny is a few Tiger fans clinging to an outlier "once in a lifetime event" as the evidence that they have more supporters.

That outlier has now been surpassed by just a regular Pies PF.

Perhaps after the Tigers next 35 year drought between GF appearnaces they might get 95k to a PF.

450,000 less fans than the Swans.

Bro you had a 60+ year drought winning two flags snuck between., Tiges on the other hand 2nd most successful in that time winning 8 flags only behind the Hawks. I just witnessed my team achieve a dynasty whats your team achieved apart from choking in grannies :D
