Yep happy with all that.Still a lot of work to be done by List Management before the end of the season.
in this order
Goldstein (don't let him even think about FA)
Wright (is he seriously not contracted beyond 2015?)
Boomer
Ziebell (extension required this year)
Brown (extension required this year)
Daw
Thomas (extension required this year)
Harper
McKenzie
Petrie (done enough in the last 5 weeks, would still prefer to see him in defence)
Sam Wright is the only defender who can both shut down an opponent and be effective by foot.
So which Wright are you trading off?
We should trade Cunnington. We still have <insert name of 6 other lesser players> who could fill the role.I agree mate, hence he might be worth something.
We'd still have MacMillan, McDonald, Atley, Mullet, Vickers-Willis, Jacobs and a few older mids who could fill the role.
nb4 "Swallow" and I rip their liver out through their arse.We should trade Cunnington. We still have <insert name of 6 other lesser players> who could fill the role.

Indeed.Nothing to see here.

Indeed.
He isn't a superstar. He's our best small defender though. Quite comfortably.Wright is too slow to be a gun lockdown defender. And for a skilled dual sided player, he makes a lot of s**t errors by foot.
Usually rate your opinion, but yeah nah, he is ok. Nothing more.
You'd think they're waiting til the end of the season to re-sign the veterans. If we miss finals this year some questions will have to be asked and, even though his form warrants it, keeping Drew on might not be the best idea. Don't want to pull the trigger too early.Still a little surprised, given Drew's form over the last few weeks, that he hasn't been offered a contract for 2016.

Sign the geriatrics after the season ends to allow for injuries.Still a little surprised, given Drew's form over the last few weeks, that he hasn't been offered a contract for 2016.
Wright has been our best defender this year. Crazy idea to trade him.
EFAHe's just turned 25. He'll play his best footy over the next 5 years. If we traded him after putting years into developing him we would be like a feeder club again
Because Ayden Kennedy is the most underrated player of all time apparently.Gee am I glad that the club looks after player Contracts and not the "luminaries" here on Big Footy

I'm updating the OP with each announcement.
I doubt anyone was stressing but I had it confirmed the other day that McDonald and Turner are indeed contracted for 2016. They were the only two on deals that weren't made public.
