Anyone at OW (and I know there are a few on this forum) can tell me how J.Horsburgh went. 100 goals a few years back. 0 in R1 and 1 in R2.
Who would u consider genuine match winners from your club/opposition.
Better than that .. a teal cup ruckman- But how long is he around- little bird says he is going overseas- Matt CollinsThe Hawks have apparently two very big ruckman running around, one a former B grade ammo?
What? It's surely so because you say it is?
Hardly.
I will be interested to read the report from this week. If someone could post it here it would be appreciated. I doubt the coach will fill his team full of praise this week. My guess is he will tell his players that the effort wasn't good enough.
That said, could we all say it was unexpected? I would be interested in seeing Elsternwick's record over the other side of the Yarra River. They rarely win when they have to cross the river.
Had to go to their website for it, but pretty much as I expected. Maybe I got that one right eh?
Would look to me that Elsternwick has lost Neill, their major ruckman and Hunter, their near 100 goal full forward from last season.
I don't care what some of the jocks may say on the forum, but when you're being serious, taking out a dominant ruckman such as Neill and a 90+ goal forward such as Hunter out of the team and it leaves a massive hole.

Who would u consider genuine match winners from your club/opposition. Also ruckman from Elsternwick is a giant, i believe there is not a player who would beat him all year at stoppages. Massive recruit for the wicks.
But last week everyone else was brillant as well. Surely the remaining brillant players could cover
He's not a recruit. He was there last year. He's also beatable in the ruck as our WB ruckman showed on the weekend. Having said that I saw him take a pack mark against 3 other players and he didn't jump. He sure doesn't get smaller as the game goes on either!

Mcglede, given E'wick have lost a couple of quality players this year how do you see their season panning out? Personally, I think Jack Neill is a massive loss for them. If he's playing then they play well - particularly at home. I he misses then I think winning 10-12 games for the season is the best they can expect.
Interested in your ideas on how you beat Elsterwick Red Gum ....as your boys have done just that last weekend. What was the turn around from week one against Monash?
Well Gents (and possibly ladies), I'm on 7/10 with a 4,3 record thus far. Can anyone better that? I'm tipping yes.
Good luck to all...

Big week on the track, better focus before the game, a few changes in the team, home ground advantage, settled nerves after an interrupted pre-season, don't like the Monash ground (and they got the jump on us), Elsternwick underestimated us, we played the better footy on the day, one week at a time, hard work pays off in the end... Have I missed any other clichés you were going to use Redgum?
Good question PS. Not sure if he is playing this year but Flowerday from the Gryphons is a very good player in D3 footy. Goal kicking on baller capable of tearing the opposition apart.
Flowerday was no doubt arguably the best player in the comp back in '04. But did his knee during pre-season '05 and hasn't played since.
