People here on BF seem to think that the AFL & Collingwood are in some sort of collusion to get them on FTA or that Eddie has orchastrated the draw to have them on FTA as much as possible.. However when you look at the facts you see that is just not true.
Friday Night Games= 5
Sunday Games= 2 (1 Twilight game on Foxtel)
Blockbuster/Special Timeslot games=2, or 3 if you include the split round game agaisnt Sydney in Sydney to gain 60,000+ to that game.
Saturday Games open to either 10 or Foxtel= 13 or 14
Out of 22 games there is only 8 or 9 games that are pigenhold into FTA , leaving up to 14 games for 10 & Fox to decide. Is it the AFL & Collingwoods fault that Channel 10 got most of the game? No it is not and it show that people here are just driven by blind hate with no regard for things such as facts and as such come across as ignorant fools.
