- Varcoe playing through a personal tragedy.
- Buckley, nearly sacked this time last year, now in a grand final.
- Mason cox from another country not knowing the game 4 years ago, goes from told he isnt good enough one week, to dominating a prelim final the next.
- Goldsack injury thought season was over, worked hard to get back and now will play a GF.
- Treloar freakish injury, and back now similar to Goldsack.
- Pendles despite captaining the biggest game of the year, show more concern about a very unwell kid as they run out on to the ground.

There is so many feel good stories about this team, and so many things that so many people can relate to in their personal lives for inspiration to show you can overcome things. Not to mention from a purely a team football point of view, coming from 13th to a grand final (like Tiges did last year), doesn't that give hope to everyone next season no matter where you finished.

Lol, we're not the ones urging all West Australians to get behind us. Granted our club isn't, to be fair. Doubt many Pies supporters are advocating what Ed, Adam etc are.

Posted mostly for lols anyway
 
Will probably be 4 million West Coast supporters in Victoria on GF day.

Yes i agree about all those things. But he is the president of Collingwood, not West Coast. For the same reason if your president did the same thing urging WA, or neutrals to back West Coast, i wouldn't have a problem with it. My point was that I think that people have glossed over the point of what he said because of who he is, and their dislike of him.

This years grand final is such an interesting scenario for neutral fans because both teams are quite disliked BUT they also play close finals against one another so the potential is there.
Personally, off the back of some stirring victories and with the great stories of Goldsack and Cox, coupled with the overcoming of odds with their injury list, i'm inclined to looked a Collingwood victory as a bit of a feel good story. Pretty remarkable time to be alive when a Magpie flag is viewed in such positive light.
In saying that, the Eagles have won a bit of respect back with great players such as Yeo, McGovern, Kennedy and Darling winning over plenty of fans in the footy world. At the end of the day, just hoping for a good contest and may the ultimate team with the most heroes get the chocolates.

There is nothing inherent in the media that requires neutrality. Only in the above two segments.

A film company is “the media” should fox have to remain neutral on information about its films? Should it also put out releases about universal

You now claim film studios are media like sports reporters, making it now illogical fallacies

And you go even further trying to have a go at my club to deflect from the issue Eddie is suppose to use his position in the media to argue against the bullshit the highest ranked team has to play the grand final on its opponents home ground. He is not suppose to manipulate the situation if he wasnt in incompetant and unproffesional

Yeah I think then they'll be able to say they are the best time in the history of the VFL/AFL given they've played so many gfs.
