I'm still fuming. Still 7 minutes left at that time. Game wouldn't have petered out at 2-1 like it did at 3-1.

The penalty kills the game. At 2-1 Palace will think they are still a chance and Liverpool will be nervous like they were for a lot of the 2nd half

Not denying it changes the game but we were still winning anyways, not like it was 1-1 then the injustice would be huge.

It's a 50/50 pen. You see them given all the time when the keeper takes down a player. I thought it was soft though.

Jota's been flattened from behind before and not had a pen given even with VAR. So will take a 50/50 call this time.

It's not a 50/50 pen. They don't give pens when you lose control of the ball or just run into the opposition player and flop. Well they aren't supposed to. Not as bad a call as it would have been 2-1 anyway ffs

Of course its a 50/50. The keeper came out, got nowhere near the ball and collided with his opponent. Those sorts of fouls are given regularly all over the field. For me in the box it needs to be more clear cut - I wouldn't give a pen personally.
