Moss: Did you see that ludicrous display last night?
Harry the office postman: What was Potter thinking sending Welbeck on that early?
Moss: Thing about Brighton is, they always try and walk it in.

If it happened 3-4 times sure.. but it's a regular occurrence.Brighton have to been one of the unluckiest teams I've seen to be in 16th place after 25 games.
What a show.Moss: Did you see that ludicrous display last night?

You already have too many attackers. Someone would have to go.We'd prob just pay the extra 40m.
I don't think this is the truth. It's where he's playing but I don't think it's his preferred spot.Werner who wants a wide forward spot.
Worst Expected goals: Brighton at +11.85
Best Expected goals: Man United at -9.20
Maupay the worst in Brighton and Fernandes with the most unexpected in the respective sides, although if you take as many shots as he does it does eventually add up to 1 expected goal (hence why Expected goals per shot should be more of an accurate measurement than just expected goals).
Brighton have scored ~12 fewer goals than you'd expect from their shots this season. You would need to explain those American type stats to me. All but worthless in football.
Said every team.fu** me can we just turn all our home games into away games please. Thanks.
Maybe, could also be poor shooting as well though.I call that extremely unlucky.
And we still struggle to score; go figure. You already have too many attackers. Someone would have to go.
Pulisic, Ziyech, Havertz, CHO, already plus Mount and even Werner who wants a wide forward spot.
Indeed. Even then it can be deceptive because in the case of Bruno v Maupay, he's taken a lot more shots from outside the area but obviously scored more non-penalty goals. All it takes is for a couple of lucky goals to throw it all out like the one v Everton where he tried to cross for Rashford but it went all the way in, that was 0.03 xGMaybe, could also be poor shooting as well though.
xG doesn't really take into account the quality of shot and as Brades said you could have a million shots from like the corner of the opposite end and you'd end up with an xG of 1 eventually. So lots of shots from long range/tight angles can increase xG but it's a bit deceptive.
Spurs had the same amount of shots on target as West ham though. Yes they had 20 shots but spurs never looked threatening at all.Maybe but on the balance of play/shots/chances Tottenham probably should have won. Result doesn’t say that though so if you got on it then a nice profit
They did when Bale came on.Spurs had the same amount of shots on target as West ham though. Yes they had 20 shots but spurs never looked threatening at all.
Amazing.lololol. 3 shots, 2 on target, 2 goals.
To some degree, but even he looked like he cbf playing anymore his body language is so laidback he just wants to retire and play golf. They did when Bale came on.
Ole agrees with you.fu** me can we just turn all our home games into away games please. Thanks.
Said every team.
Not quite but it's definitely a thing. This season only West Ham, Chelsea, Wolves, Arsenal, Southampton, Burnley, Newcastle and Sheffield U have a better home record than away. Whereas in 2019-20 every team except Southampton were better home than at away. In 2018-19 every single team got more points at home than away.
Wow it's almost like without crowds home and away is a irrelevant concept and people need to stop bringing it upNot quite but it's definitely a thing. What's why it's laughable when dumb campaigners think teams struggle at grounds in the AFL because they are 6m wider than their home ground.Really goes to show how important fans are, proof is in the pudding that fans are more of the advantage as opposed to familiar surroundings.

Not as intimating. But why has it gone the other way? There's no fans. Some teams seem better when they are on a road trip.
