mc need to resign today.

Smashed in the ruck. Blicavs wasnt even jumping in the last qtr.

Darling got them back into it due to being on someone too small.

We have fantastic individual talent. But the MC must go now or it will be all wasted.

Top 4 is in big trouble.

No stupid replies with dumb cliches and comments of its only round 3. This has been a multi year issue now but the mc have gone bananas now.

Sav, kelly, cocky, kolo, stewart showed great talent today. but what is the point if our mc and coaching is working against us through ineptitude.

Lost before the first bounce?

Plenty will say that and I’m sure it will make them feel better but when you lose three important players during the match and give up a three goal lead half way through the last quarter that’s a stretch.

Insipid first half. Time for Scott to explain why we play slow footy until we are out of the game and then we take it on and we can better anyone. It’s disgraceful.

Would have won if we didn’t end up with a 1 man bench in the last quarter. Too much to ask of any side.

Also the fact gaz went down was huge.

Simply ran out of petrol as we had nobody who could rotate anymore.

Would have been one of the biggest impossible tasks to pull that off in the end.

In: Smith, Murdoch, Duncan, Thurlow.
Out: Ablett, Guthrie, Cockatoo, Parsons.

* this. Just so disheartening all these injuries.

Pros:
- Tom Stewart. Rock down back.
- Menegola. For the most part played well.
- Henry. Thought the youngster acquitted himself well given the inexperience. Something to work with.

Con:
- Slow start. Asleep for the first half.
- selecting neither Stanley or Smith.
- injuries. Quickly curtailing our season.
- forward 50 pressure. Cannot be a sometimes thing. All the time.
- 6 day break travelling to Perth. Contributed to our lack of puff surely.

This one sits fairly and squarely at the feet of the MC.

By being that stubborn to not play a KPD nor Ruck exposed our undersized backline to an extent that it shouldn’t have been.

Another embarrassing set of selections by the MC

First half was some of the worst footy I have seen this club play. We were really lucky the eagles wasted a lot of chances, big turning point was the Stewart smother.

Henry, Sav and Stewart all showed a lot.

Our team really lacks skills.

It was a type of game we usually lose.

On reflection we just gotta thank max gone for missing that sitter otherwise we would be 0-3 and our season could already be gawn

I hope dazzling Darren "broncos" Minchington doesn't get a game next week otherwise it could get nasty against the saints

Absolutely ******* shitful. Medicos...no campaigner is fit. MC...Ruckmen, what are they? We are only up against Nic Nat and Lycett and we have no reference point at all...what could go wrong? Scott...this slow ball movement s**t will never win us a flag. We are a talented team that wins games in spite of you, not because of you. What the * have we been doing all summer? [/rant]

Similar to the Richmond game in 2016 where we played like s**t for 3 quarters and won it in the last. Why does it take so long to actually take the game on? We consistently disadvantage us from the start with s**t starts and then have to use all our energy to bring us back. Without injuries we may have pulled out the win but even then it's still not good enough.

I hope that instead of getting another golden ticket Cockatoo plays in the VFL until he can prove beyond doubt that he is injury free and that his form warrants selection in the AFL side.

We can’t keep carrying him games hoping that he may put it all together at some point. It is time for some tough love the kind that was shown to Bartel when he was developing.

Knew we were gonna lose at the 15 min mark when Bews kicked backwards.
Destroyed all our momentum.
Sav Rat big positive but some massive problems!
Picking a player just to run around and get slaughtered in the ruck all day. What's the point of this? How does this help us?
I've loved Zuthrie but we can't keep playing him on todays effort. Liability on any sized player defensively, gives the ball to the closest player every time offensively.
Miserable old day really with those 3 players injured.
At least one of the goal umpires was hot.

Who?
Do you mean House or Gardner who have never played anything other than VFL, and not good enough to warrant selection?
How about Kolo, Stewart and Henry, you know, the 3 KPD we had playing today.

First half cost us.

We did it a few times last year, letting teams get a head start and it becomes too much to get back on top.

Makes it even harder with only 1 on the bench but wouldn't of been as difficult if we didn't give them a 30 point head start.

I feel like we don't have any structure and are relying too much on our experiences players which are falling over with injury now.

These types of injuries are why we need to develop young players as much as possible and the young guys currently getting games will be better for the experience.

A positive to finish is Sav. Great game against some good opposition will give him some confidence moving forward.

Play him every week regardless, he has some heart.

Just waiting for next week’s first half where we play slow, side ways footy racking up plenty more disposals than our opposition but are 4 goals down at the main break.

Brain surgeon Scott then instructs his troops (or tells Selwood to tell them because he doesn’t like talking to the bottom 3/4 of the squad) to start to run and kick directly. We then finally become competitive.

This is after leaving our best ruckman in the VFL for a further week.
