Miers definitely is a liability. Bring close in, at least he can tackle and plays a team game.
Steven for me need another mid.

Look I'm neutral but how many times has he done this in final. Danger back in the middle with 4 minutes to go, Jesus Christ.

We dont move it fast.enoughCan't blame the coach for poor goalkicking.
I think he usually gets at least one of the three on the boundary and like you say two easy ones. Should've had three. I'll give him a pass for the one in the last quarter since he knew he had to rush itHawkins missed two goals. The other 3 were all incredibly unlikely.
One of our best today..says a lotParfitt turns the footy over like a bloke taken in the 4th round, cant believe we picked this bloke with a top 30 selection, woeful.
2nd and 3rd quarters told the story. We dominated the second and didn't capitalise. They dominated the third and did. Finals can be a game of moments and I felt when ours presented themselves, we mostly mucked it up. Hawkins missing, Kolo missing when a goal would have lifted spirits. Giving away a goal in the dying stages of the 2nd after finally getting one of our own just before. Parfitt passing to Ablett rather than having a set shot just before a siren. Mitch doing the same. We weren’t belted off the park and we had good intensity from the start but we just didn’t walk in whenever the door was open.
Collingwood or West Coast next week is a real chance of straight sets. Likely Richmond in a Prelim... not confident. Bloody flat after that. Thought we were a really good chance pre-match.
Agree at least we know what we are going to get with Close. Miers is just not a finals type player.Miers definitely is a liability. Bring close in, at least he can tackle and plays a team game.
He lost us the game with sticking Atkins and Dalhaus in the middle. I knew before the ball was bounced they were gonna beat us in the clearances when it mattered most.
Steven will come in not Clark but I agree.
One positive was Hendo doesn't look finished.
And probably cost St Kilda a flag in 2009 when his shot clearly hit the post and was paid a goal!As much as Scott has frustrated me in the past, he cannot be blamed for Hawkins missing 6 goals.
I don’t care what anyone says, Hawkins has cost us potentially 2 flags.
The talent gets us here every year. The coaching lets us down every year...
Let's hope Brisbane win tomorrow night then.
A bit unlucky themselves? Wtf. They couldn’t miss. 17 scoring shots to 13. We won pretty much every stat.Port completely demolished us from half time. Clearly the far better team. We got a couple of arsey goals late, which made the score line seem respectable, and they were a bit unlucky going forward themselves. The whole team fell apart. It wasn't just a Hawkins issue.
He was good actually. One of our best today..says a lot
Nah he can get stuffed. Still have that memory of him burning three teammates in our forward 50 and getting run down by Buddy in the 2016 PF.Well done motlop. Shouod never have left geelong. We could of used him tonight.
Miers definitely is a liability. Bring close in, at least he can tackle and plays a team game.
This is good experience for them. They know what the problems are. Next year they'll put it into action and we'll see a different result.its deja vu every f*n time weve been in the finals the past 9 years
That's our only hope imo.

Rubbish. He’s kicked them all year fromHawkins missed two goals. The other 3 were all incredibly unlikely.
Twice! It's like he's taking the piss.Duncan, Dahlhaus and Atkins for the game's most critical centre bounce.
Coaching malpractice.
