Q2. Again lucky Geelong kicked a lot of behinds, 30-40 points is probably the correct margin given the difference in intensity.

Day and Newcombe went up a level that quarter and it was noticeable.
Chol competing well but not taking the mark.
Frenchie's skill is a class above most.
Meeky took some strong marks that quarter which is good to see!

Day, Frenchie, Sic, Newk and Meek looking pretty sharp. Gunston had a couple of nice passages.

Aerially they are superior at both ends. We are a KPP short. Would be good to see Skaife and/or Ramsdan for the rest of the game.

Our backline looks terrible. We badly need Barrass and some size down there. Everytime they go forward they look like scoring and we have mid sized players falling all over the place.

I think it’s a function of purposefully reduced intensity. We don’t need guys backing into target spaces or flying for contests in this match. I hope they are approaching defence as close enough is good enough.

Love the way Nash is going about it, just puts himself in the best spot at every contest. Often misses out on the ball but usually clears a path or blocks for another mid, the ultimate team player.

Frenchie looks good, Battle looks solid, Chol competing well but way too isolated.

We’re clearly missing Impey, Amon, Weddle, and Massimo moving the footy. Combined with being at the shittest ground in the league and the score line makes sense.
