i love lego men
Chad Gibson: Gone. (maybe rookied, but definetely wont be a senior next year).
John Hinge: Gone
Jon Griffin: Stays if Meesen goes.
Clarke: Gone
Jericho: Stays
Meesen: Traded

This is how it will evolve ladies and gents. :)

I can't imagine too many people fiercely arguing with you. I look forward to a busy trade & draft season for the AFC.

We have to keep Jericho. Considering the amount of games he's already played he'll have to stay on for a whole bunch more seasons to be categorically more useless than Matthew Smith. :p
Nah, just kidding. Jericho has some good attributes and I think he'll rightfully survive this year. Just needs to break a couple of those eggs that he has in his pocket when he plays.

Good to see you actually start a footy thread PP.

;) ;)

I agree Gibbo is gone - not even a project player unfortunately
Clarke will retire
Griffo might survive if Meese is Re-leesed - otherwise I think we're ruckman top-heavy
Obst - ta ta
Jericho - hopefully a trade

I think his main problem has bee inability to stay healthy. He might survive given Hentschel's injury but if he is delisted, I wouldn't be surprised if we rookie list him or re-draft him.

Even if Meesen stays, I think we are not ruckman top heavy. Huddo and Biglands are no spring chickens and they are some 2-3 years away from retirement. Griffin could possibly be kept on

Not gonna happen. He is a first year player and he has to serve his initial contract before he can be cut. Unless he does breach that contract in some way and that is highly unlikely ;)

The club is extremely worried about his ability to stay fit. At this stage I highly doubt he will be on our list next season.

What constitutes a "breach’ of contract"?

hmmmm Griffo has disappointed me with the Doggies.....:(

Huddo and Biggles have long term contracts IIRC.

with Meese and Maric in the wings - one wonders why we would retain a 5th ruckmen with such a good draft in the offing...

out of the 5 ruckmen - Griffo is the most "one-dimensional" in terms of only being able to play ruck.

Biglands signed on for 2 years. I think Huddo's contract was expiring at the end of this year and I am not sure if he signed on

Fair call RE Griffin. Now that I think about it, we can always re-rookie him if we are that interested.

Meesen is still up in the air and I agree that Jericho will be kept.

Yeah, I wondered if Hentschel going down will have given Gibson a lifeline. Maybe - maybe not.

Call me an optimist, but Meesen ain't gone until he's gone, and he hasn't said that yet. Does that mean Griffin would go if Meesen stays??

Jericho??

Well!!

Why do we need a guy with certain skills and a ton of pace who is not a natural footballer and has a heart the size of a pea?

My ex-favourite whipping boy, Matthew Smith, was a real dud, but he did give his best, little as that was.

Ladhams couldn't last the journey, and he was 10 times the footballer that Jericho is.

I remember being a bit disappointed that we went with Willits over Gibson back in the day, what happened to him that he's a write off now?

injuries - and struggles to make the Norwood league side.... ......my Nana could..............never mind...:o

Ah, that makes sense. Playing as athletically as he did with his frame was always going to be an injury risk - shame its so chronic.
