Yeah quite a bit of unrest there.
Remind me of how divided the Arsenal fanbase has been at times.
Right now though all gooners are pretty happy.
It doesn’t take much to get arsenal fans happy these days. If we are their benchmark now then that says a lot. They’ll be back to calling for Wengers head in a week or two

Good ol' Moyes, already saying after one game that big players "disappointed him".

That'll build trust with the dressing room

You seem overly #obsessed. You know he's not Everton/United manager anymore right? :D

You see, dragging two clubs down in two years requires some real skill--to pull it off you have to be s**t but not so bad that you get fired before the end of the season.
Previously Moyes was pretty good at not getting sacked early, it's as if he's gone full IDGAF anymore mode.
I say this warrants further scientific investigation as to why the same managers like him always get hired, hence my #obsession with him

A benchmark for what? Making top 4 for a few seasons with no trophies? That's essentially what we were chastised for before winning the trio of FA Cups lol.

All our win does is help us keep pace with the chasing pack, who are well behind City. But it was fun watching us batter your lot on the weekend, that's for sure.

I think the CP and Burnley losses have killed us, had we won those we'd be a pretty good chance.
Yeah the Palace loss hurts. Burnley was a bit of an aberration.

8-9 points is nothing though and I doubt you'll find a City fan who feels they've got it in the bag already.

Plenty of season left.

Should've been a red card for Vinny. Time of occurrence is irrelevant.

Provided you didn't use nufty tactics (I still don't some of the things we do, sometimes), and your defence knows what the heck its doing (seriously, why does Simpson give Sane so much space?) you can get something.

Momentum is a funny thing. Still early days yet. City could hit a bit of trouble, Chelsea can hit good form, and who knows?

Why? He wasn't last man and Stones was covering.

West Ham fans were calling for the board to be sacked against Watford. You know a club is in turmoil when that happens

West Ham are the very definition of a club that has not only lost its identity as a club, but also lack the success in this new era to make up for this. I've seen a lot of West Ham stuff from Spencer and some other Hammer fans, getting an idea of what their club culture is all about. Not its as commercialised as all heck, and is far away from a home from these guys as you can possibly get.

There's a casual appeal about the place, and for those of West Ham, that is a problem, considering the acoustics of their new stadium as well. Sure, they do try to sing, but you can tell that it still doesn't quite feel like home...

I know Ibrahimovic is a dedicated professional & very disciplined with his rehab, but amazed he returned so quickly from an acl at his age!

Just for perspective, Bolasie did his knee in December last year & is only about to return to full training. His was bad though as he damaged most things in there, he required 2 operations on it a couple of months apart

I might be a supreme optimist but I still believe we can get on a run and challenge City...

I think you guys are more likely to catch City than us because against fellow top teams you guys seem to perform better.

City look bloody good though, will take something special to get em.

FA cup means pretty much jack s**t these days. Not saying I wouldn’t be delighted to see us win one again, but the club is focussing on finishing top 4 and now doing something in the CL, that’s the way it is. I’m not talking s**t at all, Mr Moderator
Considering you can pretty much only win 4 trophies per year. The Premier League trophy, European Cup/Europa League, FA Cup and the League Cup and considering most clubs can really only compete for two of those, the FA and League Cups... im pretty sure they still mean PLENTY!

I'd kill for Liverpool to win the FA Cup this year, it's been ages since we lifted it. It's a massive honour to win the worlds oldest cup competition and a fantastic day out for the fans.

For someone who supports a club that never wins trophies, surely you would value the FA Cup more than you do as it's a massive honour that is also realistically in reach for your club.
