Renders for the New Hall of Industries - gonna look pretty cool. Will need to fix the locker room ceilings though as the Opera House logo goes bye bye.

Here's the latest animated walkthrough - who ever did the camera work needs to remember you need to walk not run!

Hey all, keep an eye out on Friday night when we attend the game

How you can help

At Friday night’s match against the Western Bulldogs at the SCG we will be showcasing our new home.

Keep an eye out on the big screen and visit our showbag stand on Driver Avenue ahead of the game where you can also show your support by making a donation.

Donations of $75 or more will receive a showbag to say thank you, which includes a tote bag, drink bottle, keyring, lanyard and magnet featuring the iconic outline of what will become our new home at the Royal Hall of Industries.

Had to post as Reg is interviewed by Tom Harley :)

Described as "indoor field"
it does not look like "AFL size"

Out of curiosity would anyone know what this little field is used for?

It can have multiple uses. Coaches can use it to explain and walk out new tactics on a smaller scale (positioning etc) without having to go over to an actual oval.

Mostly it will be used for warmups before training and matches and other training drills that don’t require being outside.

Also it can be converted to a Netball Court I believe for the Swifts and their training.

EDIT: No there is a separate Netball Court that has been built.

Indoor soccer fields are smaller than soccer fields.

Playing indoor soccer you typically have less space so it's much more about technical ability and ball control than it is about athletics. I imagine a small AFL field would give you the same, great for reduced matchs of 12 vs 12
