The Latin term for this is pro forma. It won’t matter in the end, but the “form” still must be respected.
We use pro forma here as well, but it's used in relation to using the correct or standard documents or forms.

every one of those dickheads talking to the advertiser and picketing should be banned for life from ever using any facilities made there. their childrens children must suffer their short-sighted actions. we all know they will be amongst the first to want to talk to the paper about how glorious it is for the community once it's all done.

And bump up the resale value of their homes by marketing them as a stone's throw away from state-of-the-art, modern, community recreational facilities.

It means “in favour of the form.” So, it can be used as “in respect of the formalities” or “in observance of the procedures;” which also includes documents.

I'd almost forego the redevelopment if it could be guaranteed that the park would become the dogging epicentre for the western suburbs.

Maybe our development needs to expand it's scope a bit.

Imagine the tourism dollars coming in. It'd be at least $500, maybe more.

So if all the councillors rocked up and voted with no abstentions, then the vote was 16-2.

I spoke to Richo at the Richmond post game function, and he said there were a couple of councillors who were very nervous about the protestors. Obviously worried about reelection as they are the only 2 in the Port Adelaide ward, which Alberton Oval is in.

They may well piss off more people in their ward if they oppose it though. Some local supporters of the development may need to start getting vocal - at least shoot off an email to their rep to let them know they're watching where they stand on the issue

That's basically what Richo meant in his CEO message last Thursday night.

How can our members help?
The Council will decide on the proposed re-development in the coming month after providing provisional approval allowing us to progress the funding submissions.

Many of our members live in the City of Port Adelaide Enfield, so you can play an active role in supporting the project. There is a formal Council process which the Club is following and we will advise later in April when members can provide formal support of the project.
