They say that where ever you live you get 3 crappy months of weather, normally Jan-Feb is brilliant down here compared to 39 degrees last week when I was in Adelaide - must be the company we are keeping this week

well someone needs to do a report (pretty please !!)

I have bucks night that night ( i considered not going but i thought that to be too rude)

Presuming I go, which is about 90% sure at this stage, I'll do one.

Without the Robran icing sugar though. :D

Internal trials with modified rules aren't a good indication of anything in my view

Is everyone going to Norwood next week?
I'm planning to go at this stage. We don't get too many opportunities to drink Coopers when watching the Crows live.

Apparently the friday internal trial has been cancelled. Just heard KG on the breaky show say that its been cancelled due to player fatigue. Then the discussion suggested it was more to do with avoiding injuries. They didnt say specifically but I got the impression maybe the facilities arent up to it, perhaps the ground condition. I guess we will find out the full details later in the day.

That surprises me cause if it is cause the ground isnt up to scratch then it must have gone to ******** house since I last seen it, the ground in Pt Augusta is usually in top nick and if its the one Im thinking of at the back of the TAFE there  I know Bennet Oval In Whyalla has always had alot to be desired.

Just read on another thread its because of player fatigue / fear of injuries, not ground condition, so forget that, I must have mis interperted what was said.

Bennett oval is going to have a lot of money spent on it macca to bring it up to standard for AFL games & other big events.

Not sure about Central oval in Port Augusta but it seems to me the excuse the club is giving out for not having an internal trial there is pretty weak.
