I'm so bored at the moment, does anyone know when the practice matches start and where they're going to be played?

Yeah Evo, i'm absolutely bored you know what at the moment.
But the only thing i've noticed over recent years they've had practice matches during the week and usually in the mornings or early arvo, making it hard to get to. Would be good if they're on the weekend when we all can get to them.

I went to enjoyable one at optus last year against the Blues. We lost, but it was a good hitout. Was on a Friday arvo from memory.

I went to that, i think, although i think it was 2 years ago. Anyway, the one i went to was the one Rodan played his first hit out with us, and I went away so excited with him. He was in and under packs, the first to the ball, he was running around crazy lol. Thought he was going to be a fantastic player - he may still - but pretty disappointed over the last couple of seasons after that inital look at him.

I'd be stoked if they came to the Goldie for a Prac match. But cant see it happening :(
They did go up to Brissie last year. I think the Coast is too much of a distraction for the players - especially seeing I'm there :D

Ahh you're a beautiful one too Julz;)

Yeah I remember them coming up last year and I meant to go but couldnt get there as something came up, but cant remmber.

Well hopefully they come to Brissie again this year.

I saw that practice match, it was against Brisbane in Indooroopilly. It was when the Wizard Cup was still going, but us and Bris were already out of it. Richo dominated the first three quarters, took a bunch of marks, kicked like seven goals and should've kicked around twelve if he was more accurate, missed some real sitters. We were winning until three quarter time, then did nothing at all in the last quarter and they came over the top of us and won (sound familiar?). I'd love to see another one up here, I only go once or twice a year - when we play the Lions up here, plus I normally make on trip to Melbourne a year to see them play. I was lucky last year year (when we played the Pies), this year it'll be in May against the Blues, so fingers crossed that we win that one.
