Yes both my boys had it and like a mild cold for them (probably got Omi.)
Reckon many AFL players would have already, otherwise a week or so off, no big drama... in theory

You can catch it multiple times. So catching it now doesn't help at all with missing games.Might reduce the symptoms, but reinfection will mean missed game(s).

Unlikely to catch it for somewhere between 3-4 months, so until then bulletproof.
My lad was about day 4 and his mates that had gotten over it and done their time came over and had beers and played backyard cricket. Oh to be 22 again.

chances of RE infection is still very low something like 1-2%
