Man I am Nicks apologist but **** me I cant defend this.
Murphys time at the club is done, and we have wasted way too many games on him. It’s not even going a man down, Murphy actively gets in the way, fluffs up what should be goals, and other teams capitalize the other way. He doesn’t fit the synergy of the team.
If you go back and watch the Gold Coast game you will see every time he went near the ball, something bad happened. Compare that to Rankine, Rachele god even Keays these days, when they get near the ball in the forward line good stuff happens.
The other issue is we a bunch of high to medium draft picks that can’t get into the team because we don’t have many injuries. What a great opportunity for Draper, Edwards, Dowling to get them in. Who knows they might surprise with a breakout game. If not, I’d rather 10 Draper possession than 10 Murphy possessions.
It’s hard to comprehend what Nicks sees when literally every other person in Australia can see he’s not up to it.

Remember when you said Murray had never seen Murphy play. And that was the only reason Murphy was allowed to play against the Suns was because Nicks convinced him. And then after Murphy sucked - Murray said get him out and Murray dropped him.

So in the last three matches we've had Laird replaced by Smith, then Smith holding his spot after Laird returns, and now Laird and Smith AND Murphy all playing. Geez.

well he is a coach who coaches by fear. I will go so far as to suggest not a single coach in the league would have made that decision if coaching us. Everyone can see Murphy is a certain delisting at the end of this season because he simply is a D grade level squad member. Its almost certain he is selected purely because he is mature. This is the very decision I hope Davis takes not of and gives negative feedback on Nicks list management and selection strategies. Future be damned!

He's more interested in keeping his job than winning a flag. That combined with being completely incompetent is the reason he needs to go. The quality of our list is making him look far better than he is but no matter how good our list becomes he will find a way to waste it. The fraud needs to go.
Pedlar has not stood out much at all. Kicked 4 in a game sure, that's a great performance..... but thats it.
Draper had 30 touches in the SANFL in 3 quarters when he first went back.

Im not a Nicks fan but its incredibly dumb to say he'd rather coach an average side than win a flag.
Thing is our midfield still needs work. We need another player currently in the 2s to be the next star in there.
That player ain’t going to be Murphy. So why not try and find who out of our current crop can step up?

Remember when you said Nicks couldn’t be a defensive coach because we had the number one attack when we are also the number 2 defensive team? Lol
What we do know is our forward line is supremely talented, loaded with high picks, most efficient in the AFL, our defence isn’t.
