Re: Rnd 7, Hawthorn vs Melbourne, MCG, 11th May

Heading off to the game around 6 and will be entering via MCC but will probbaly move as it will be full of Dees supporters. We should be winning pretty comfortably but I have a bad feeling for some reason so I chucked 10 on Melbourne u39.5. paying 15 so I win either way (obiously much rather a win though). Hope Rioli plays. IDK why he wouldn't but there are some rumours on here which worry me. Hodge and Gibbo are big losses but I feel we can cover them by cutting off supply. GO HAWKS!!!!

Re: Rnd 7, Hawthorn vs Melbourne, MCG, 11th May

Hoping we see Puopolo play 4 qtrs...
This.

Firmly believe Poppy adds so much more to our side over 4 quarters than others more suited to pinch hitting as the sub..

Agreed. :thumbsu: As much as I'd like Young to be back tearing it up, he's at best a depth player so I think he should be sub. Barring injury, he should come on at the end of the 3rd, none of this 10 minute crap Clarko likes to do.

Bruest is probably another candidate for sub, but I'd like to see us continue to develop him to play all 4 qtrs.

Going in with some serious run and speed this week; Smith, Savage, Poppy and Young!

Re: Rnd 7, Hawthorn vs Melbourne, MCG, 11th May

Gee, Liam Jurrah looked really interested in what Neeld had to say about Hawthorn in that team meeting!

Wouldn't be surprised if that bit of footage gets some play over the coming week. Especially if we thump them.

If anyone can tell me the song that was playing during the video before Mcavaney started his dialogue, i will forever be in your debt. Tried to shazam it, but no luck.

I'm sort of glad Osbornes the sub, it will be good to see how Puopolo runs out a full game.
