Prediction Round 16 Port Changes vs Crows

Why is everyone listing Ladhams? Had a better game tonight than Ryder has played all year.
Because apparently what the team needs is to get more game time into Westhoff so that he can drift around unmarked.

As for changes they are needed but immaterial. We only win if this is one of those "emotional statements" games.

In other words, kens bag of tricks is empty.

We'll be percentage above 11th place come this afternoon. 11th!!!!

Doesn’t matter - more party time for crows fans.

Pyke to add another notch to the belt.
We were bad last night but you over estimate the crows there are strong signs they are becoming just as flakey as us if you have watched their games this year. Their inconsistencies within games and winning most of their games in unconvincing fashion tells me they are going to become like us. Next week will be tight the game can go either way.

Out: Motlop, Wines (for the rest of the year), S Gray, Ladhams, Farrell

In: Amon, Rockliff, Westhoff, Howard, SPP

Drew Lucky but reckon he will go instead of wines.

Seeing how Ken is keen to play Dixon in ruck again (😡) then we won't need Ryder.

I also think Motlop will play as Ken loves what he did in 1 showdown once.

Bonner should also go, if that's the case the Lienert in for him aswell.

Pt Augusta Power worships the crows mate.
He's been telling of their pending rise and the resulting doom to follow for some time.

He's super scared of them but also secretly admires them.

It's quite bizarre how important they are to him and how obsessed he is.

I dont think ive looked forward to a game less than this.

Wines can spend the rest of the year in the sanfl. He can sulk there

20 degrees and mostly sunny forecast for the crows home game. How the weather gods mock us.

Still, maybe the orchids will thrive. :p

Exactly. We might lose, but it won’t be a belting. Crows are no longer the team they were in 2017. They had their chance, now window is closed..

Amon replaces Farrell - played poorly two weeks in a row
Howard > Ladhams - unlucky, played ok last night
Mayes > Bonner - Mayes is a better kick and decision maker
Rocky > Motlop - Mots needs a kick up the bum
Hoff > Drew - Drew was uncharacteristically soft last night

The question should be when doesn’t Motlop need a kick up the bum?

Ken is now harping on about consistency. If you are going to play seven virtual first year players in the your side you invite inconsistency. Each of Rozee, Duursma, Butters, Drew, Farrell, Ladhams and Garner have not yet played a full AFL season and most of them are barely out of the U18 competition. These guys didn't loose last night's game on their own but like all young players they are prone to hold and cold weeks and last night was a cold one from several of them. You can get away with one or two first year players but having seven in the one side at AFL level is really pushing things. The situation is compouded when there appears to be little active leadership on the field.

With that in mind Ken & co have a big decision to make this week. Do they officially write this season off and stick with the kids or do they bring the likes of Ryder, Rockliff, Powell-Pepper and Westhoff back in the hope they will be instrumental in us winning six from our last eight matches? I think Rockliff is a certain starter as are Amon and Howard but if Ken is serious about out of form players being dropped and finding form in the SANFL then Ollie Wines has to be under some threat after last night's performance as do a couple of others.

This week is crunch week at Alberton, lose next week and the rest of 2019 becomes an exercise in developing new players.

INS: Rockliff, Amon, Howard

OUTS: from Farrell, Wines, Ebert, Garner, Drew, Frampton, Bonner, Rozee, Duursma

You need more ins ir we are playing short .

Frampton an out when he was out

In all honesty anyone played up forward under Hinkley is set to underperform or fail massively. We have the worst forward structure/movement in the league by far.

The 4 goals on the trot from 4 inside 50s by the Bulldogs last night in the third quarter. Yeah that will never happen under a Hinkley coach side.

You’d have to drop Farrell , simply doesn’t have enough weapons at this stage of his career and when he’s not nailing his chances it’s defintely go back and work on your game time .
Ladhams as well , promising but we have stronger options .
Drew didn’t take his chance .
Motlop needs to work on his hunger .
I’d be going in . Rockliff for Drew .
Amon for Motlop
Howard for a Ladhams
S.P.P for Farrell
There’s a few more under pressure ( S.Gray , Butters , Bonner , ) but for the moment I’d just do the 4

Doesn't matter who will come in & out, we're gonna get smashed by spuds with tex to kick 10 & betts to kick a freak goal over his head from on the boundary 50 metres out :rage::sob:

PORT Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley has delivered a scathing assessment of his side, labelling the Power "untrustworthy, unreliable and inconsistent" after their shock 25-point loss to the Western Bulldogs at Adelaide Oval on Saturday night.

Your team Ken.

If our list is going to be better in 2020, it really should be coached by someone else. Ken has had his turn.

NOT out: Boak, Hartlett, Lycett, DBJ, Dixon, Rozee, Clurey, Burton.

In: by lot.
Draw 14 names (just make sure Rockliff is one of those) out of the 19 AFL players who beat "Norfadley."

Better late than never, I suppose. I wonder who has built this team and lead the players...

If its wet and going to be a slug fest

Out Farrell, Sam Gray, Butters, Rozee, Motlop, Bonner

If its dry

Out Sam Gray, Butters, Motlop, Bonner

Players who need to go out of this team:

Farrell
Drew
Motlop
S.Gray
Ladhams
Bonner
Butters

I know Ken is happy to keep backing in the kids, but you simply just cannot do that every single week. You need to rotate them through. Why he thought it would work last night in torrential rain is beyond me. You need players with hardened AFL bodies in that weather.

Players that need to come back into this team:

Rockliff
Westhoff
Ryder
SPP
Amon
Howard
Mayes

They are obviously not going to make 7 changes in one week, but **** me it needs to happen.

As long as Ebert goes out or ditches that ****ing helmet, I'll be happy.

0 tackles going at 23% disposal efficiency. Do you know how bad you have to be to get 23% disposal efficiency on a wet day? The only player who was worse than him on the ground was Trengove - a key defensive player with below average disposal on a dry day - and at least he had 4 tackles.

There would be no disgrace if you retire, Brad. A couple of bad concussions would make me question whether its worth it as well. But going out there and putting in a half hearted effort doesn't help you or your teammates.

Lots deserve to be dropped, few deserve to come in.

Likely changes:

Out: Farrell, Drew, Ladhams, Butters
In: Rockliff, Amon, Howard, Westhoff
