Good to see the coaches firing a few shots across the bow of club favoured sons who are not performing.

Dropping Sidey and putting Crisp on notice lets everyone know that there are no sacred cows and lets the younger players in the VFL know that they can earn promotion if their form is good enough.

Tonight will be a fascinating watch, regardless of the result.
