This thread will go completely nuts no doubt, BUT... we got absolutely smashed tonight, our worst performance for the year, but I keep looking at the score and see it's only 29 points. I confirms for me, we're a top 6 to 8 side, but still a couple of years of being a top 4 side.

Others will want 20 players sacked, and Dimma sacked etc etc etc, but you guys need to realise we're still two years off being a top 4 side.

McGuanne needs to go, so does Nahas. Lonergan can play the year out in VFL before being delisted.
Maric needs to have a good hard look at himself as Big O would have done better.

You know, through all the years of being a Richmond fan (since 02, that's when I came to Aus) I've been a pretty negative fellow.

But today, during getting angry at the game yet again, I decided, why bother?

All being negative does is get me down, so I'm going to attempt to stamp it out.
Sure negatives need to be fixed, but leave that to the coaching team, I just want to enjoy football again.

POSITIVES
Vlastuin is very, very good, hard at the ball, great kick, calm under pressure.

Chaplin played well tonight I think, ran hard, tackled hard, was very effective.

Rance as well played better than he has last few weeks, spoiled and marked well.

Foley is getting better every week, did a lot of little 1% and seemed to gain a bit of his old pace back.

Lonergan was good apart from 1 little ****up, did a lot of little things and went hard at the ball.

Jetta was shit, I hate Leroy Jetta so watching him shank that kick made me very happy.

Watson was my SC captain.

CHANGES

Out: Nahas, Jackson

In: Tough call, is Petterd fit, Dea might come back, Griffiths

The call for Griff in may be a little out of left field, but West Coast have a very tall forward line with Kennedy, Darling, Natanui/Cox and at times Mitch Brown down there. Chaplin and Rance won't be able to hold them all.

Thought Batch played better

Chappy was great for us tonight. Actually I thought the whole backline did well considering the speed the bombers moved the ball into 50.

Lost by 29pts despite playing our worst game for the year. We are there abouts but not there yet if u know what I mean.

Not disappointing just obvious we have a bad coach I used to stick up for him but he plays our players to their weaknesses not strengths. Cotchin is no captain he can't handle the weight give it back to Newman until Vlastuin is ready.

I've never been more ashamed of our club we are a bunch of downhill skiers and the coach is the same we should go after the Scott coaching North he would turn us into a hard winning team.

As for changes Hardwick first then players.
Lonergan stole a game off Arnot who I believe will be a player. Vickery for Stephenson, Nahas for McDonough, Grigg for Ellis.

Our Backline was fantastic tonight which just indicates how shit the coach and the rest of our players were! If we lick it around like that again ill consider quitting its just not what I want to see as a fan.

In all honesty if you think we are top 6 then you are extremely optimistic.
