Apparently umpire error led to game being 19 seconds longer than it should have been

I like how they apply this to one decision, what's the bet if you poured over every whistle to the letter there'd be seconds gained or lost all over the shop.

Yes it may have been a dubious call, but he only kicked it inside 50.
So, at the end of the day it had no bearing on the final result.

So what? Every time a centre bounce gets recalled 3 seconds are lost. You guys lost it after a commanding lead plus with some pretty easy umpiring going your way

I stopped at that s**t hole the other day on a long haul and had a $6 small coffee at some tin shed. I asked if they knew who ken hinkley was , the girl had no idea , which is odd as Vic media make it sound like he's Mayor of the place , I then I sat down and enjoyed my coffee with a grin and got out of there never to return.

I know that place.

The girl serving you only got the job when no one else would take the job. When she first started, the owner of this historic 120+ year coffee shop moved from the back streets into the main street and heaps more people started buying coffees, and the manager thought it was because of him and his new hire.

She has now been making coffees for 12 years, and never made one good enough for you to rave about to your friends. Most of the coffees she makes are ok, and the locals who enjoy them the most are 3 losers who can't remember what a good coffee is it's been that long.

They turn a decent profit, but for some reason these other businesses move in, make a killing, win some awards, and then go downhill. But they continue, never good, never bad.
Occasionally some excellent reviews will come in and you think that they're gonna just make it rich, but then tourist season comes, and she always does something wrong.. the coffee beans run out, the machine breaks down,... and they miss out on the big payday.

But the manager never sacks her because he employed her and doesn't want to admit he made a mistake, and no one has the guts to tell him to sack her.

It's a vicious circle, and the locals don't care anymore, they know the coffee is not great, and they're tired of it. But as long as the foot traffic keeps the cash flowing the manager doesn't care, and the assistant manager blames the locals for not supporting the business. This story was published by his brother who's on the radio, and his dad who in the local paper and website which censor any bad posts anyone might make about the coffee.

Luckily this level of mediocrity wouldn't occur in the ultra competitive world of professional sport.
