Hewitt out with a toe/foot injury, Philippoussis the only Australian in the main draw he plays qualifier Christophe Rochus his conqueror in the Challenger last week.
Peter Luczak and Todd Reid both went out in qualifying.

Poo beats Rochus 4 and 2. Well I didn't think he could do it. But I guess not everyone gets a wildcard to every event. Probably lose to Gonzalez in the 2nd anyway.

Some results from earlier today

Federer needed three sets to get past Mariano Zabaleta
Gaudio, Henman, Dent and Agassi with easy straight set wins over Grosjean, Chela, Coria and Clement respectively.
Florian Mayer the German over Fernando Gonzalez in three sets.
Ancic beat Haas 6-4 6-4 and Stepanek over qualifier Jeff Morrison 6-3 6-0.

The pick of tomorrow's matches are probably Agassi vs. Gaudio, Federer vs Ancic and Ljubicic vs. Nadal.
