We should look into Hartley. Local boy who can't crack into the Dons who have a depth of key defenders. Wouldn't cost us much and would be worth the punt, especially considering how well he played a year or two ago
If we're offloading Reg then I would agree. I think at the moment we have good KPD stocks all in all. Grundy, Melican, Aliir all proven (to some extent at least) at AFL level. Rampe and Marsh (again, to different levels) as midsize who can play taller, and Maibaum as further depth who I thought looked good in the preseason game against the Weagles I remember watching him play in, and haven't heard anything to suggest he has gone backwards. If we are losing one or two of those then I wouldn't be averse to bringing in another cheap backup option.

With our lack of outside run polac wouldn’t be bad

Far better than Cunningham and olie is young and hanners is cooked so it’s and area we need to address quickly imo

No idea who steps up for Keenedy, we did have a replacement but let him go

IMO, what we need is just one 90+ to 125+ gamer, preferably an inside mid, but definitely a mid. We don't need a star, what we want is a solid worker, with just a little speed and willingness to go at it all day.

Brayshaw doesn't have enough experience, for mine. We have youth, and we'll continue draft youth for the future, what we need is someone for now. If they're not available for the right price, then we let it go and concentrate of youth, future picks and/or free agents.

Can we just sign Moore now? We need a key defender to help out Aliir & Rampe and the coaches have made it very clear they intend to move Grundy on at seasons end.

Trade for this bloke - 21 kicks, 25 handballs, 9 marks ,16 contested poss, 2 goals 2 behinds, 9 tackles, 4 inside 50's and he spent 90% of the game on the turf.

Plays for the Hawks , we could do with him in our midfield
Is he out of contract? Can we afford him? Let's go after Martin & Fyfe while we're at it

Miles is the guy we need. I don’t care if he can’t kick (can’t be any worse than what we have), just so long as he kicks it into our F50. We need clearances! He’s a wasted talent at Richmond and is far too good a footballer to be languishing in the VFL.

If we're just after midfielders Lin Jong & Mitch Wallis are 2 we should look into. Both wouldn't be that expensive.

I'd rather be keen on Jayden Short and take Mills out of the back and push him into the middle as I still rate our current lot. There's no reason a midfield of Kennedy, Parker, Heeney, Florent, Hewett, Mills and a fit Hanners can't be a good unit. A big chunk of that list will be coming into their best next year

Hmmm... SCG, Sydney Cricket Ground... Good luck getting them to change it! Members and Ladies can't be touched, ground shape won't change...

They have a no touching rule for members and ladies? I guess that fair, even if they are attractive they should watch in peace

That midfield wouldn’t fill to many with confidence imo

Just keep it simple for mine, give me one midfielder who can hit a target 80-90 percent of the time by foot (either foot) and just let him run on the outside all day and get the ball to buddy\

If someone can just hit buddy up he will mark it or bring to ground to Papley Ronke hayward and we could be the highest scoring team in the comp]

Let all the Parker’s and co bash in like they do.

We do not have one elite field kick in the side imo apart from maybe buddy and he can’t kick to himself

I wouldn’t put it past buddy to kick it lace out to himself. Then slot it from 70...

Yep mills in the middle next year. It’s his natural position. Buy a decent small/medium defender.

We've got Ling and Stoddart. The club seems to rate Ling, even though he hasn't played because of injury. So there is a good chance we've got one or two ready to go next season.

I would be chasing pruess, he will definitely offer a strong contest in the ruck. At his best, he can be a monster in the ruck.... just two seasons ago, he beat some off the better rucks in the league.

It’s been a issue all year, sinkers is great around the ground, but costs us in the packs.

It would offer sinkers the opportunity to play FF/2nd Ruck and play Mc Cartin as 3rd tall (make sure he has a monster preseason with lots of KM’s). (Call me a cynic, but history tells me Reid won’t be available very often.)
