I was hoping we wouldn't draft Leigh Brown, but I'll reserve any disappointment until we see how he performs in the black and white. Obviously was taken as an insurance policy down back.

Forgot about De Boer, considering he decided to not nominate last year you would not be feeling great.

If he lasted to the rookie draft would love to get him then, plus we have had luck with interstates from the rookie list

At least Leigh Brown was effectively for Thoolen, but geez I'd prefer another year of Wakelin.

Hine mentioned Simon Black as a comparison for Dayne Beams, said he was selected with Burns' departure in mind.

Leigh Brown selected to keep the balance in terms of age in the list, and give us security if NJ Brown gets tired as he did this year.

Blight they rated inside the top 30, so rapt to get him at #45.

I think it's the AFL being pedantic. They noted that Begley was not included on the list as he was an international rookie. The list was for senior listed players who nominated, not rookie listed palyers.
