‘They’re out!’ - Commentators cream over the fact they can see a free player down the line more than they do goals.

‘Pure’ - a word used by ex-player commentators to glorify the art of playing football. As if it’s some sacred discipline that they are true masters of.

"Knuckles it"

Derrrwayne's new one. I've heard him call several times recently. Surely as a commentator "punches" is easier to pronounce and flows better. Makes me want to knuckles him in the face!

Yeah - I picked up this on the weekend's call from Dwayne for the first time: "Stratton with the knuckles". Took me a few moments to figure out what he was on about. I kept looking for someone belted behind play. Nope, just a spoil.
