In Season 31 it was decided. Again. Once and for all...
Until now.
That's right, it's time to get the bands back together.
The rivalry is established. The battle lines drawn, the hills have been chosen.
We've pitted mate against mate, teammate against teammate, and divided club rooms across the competition.
The mighty dark side has reigned supreme, while the light side has flickered, but ultimately fizzled out into the darkness. Twice.
But with a new generation comes a renewed hope. In Season 35, the Light side seek one last chance at redemption, while the imperious Dark side will be looking to continue their utter dominance of the battle and allow the Light folk among us one final opportunity to taste the ultimate prize.
So… what side are you on? Once again it’s time to swear your allegiances. Stake your claim. Fly the flag.
Because the day of reckoning is fast upon us. Again again.
Here's the previous two editions of ‘The Decider’ for those new to the concept.
The Decider - Fundraiser - TiFmedia Presents... The Decider - Light vs Dark Charity Exhibition Match - Proudly supporting Beyond Blue - $3,657.27 raised
The Decider III
Decide Hard With A Vengeance
We've seen incredible generosity from all corners of the Sweet FA competition in two previous editions of ‘The Decider’ in Seasons 30 & 31, as a community the Sweet FA has raised in excess of $5,000 in support of Beyond Blue & Australian Red Cross.
This season, we will once again be supporting charity by running a fundraiser over the course of the coming weeks leading up to the match, which we will hold on Sunday 2nd July in the shadows of the Season 35 Sweet FA Grand Final.
We will proudly be supporting Sikh Volunteers Australia and the amazing work they do in the community in Series III. A massive thank you and well done to Kennedy Parker & Wosh for co-ordinating this charity fundraiser initiative and for inviting ‘The Decider’ to once again be a part of what truly is the best part of being involved in the Sweet FA community.
The Sweet FA always pulls together as a community for a great cause, so please get to pledging below, challenge your opponents based on the upcoming game, or just give because you believe in the cause, and of course many of us out there may not be in a position to give at all, I think we can all appreciate not everybody will be able to support and may even required support themselves, but at least we can take the opportunity to raise what we can for what is an important cause and we get to have a bit of fun along the way.
Over the coming weeks, we will once again select two representative sides consisting of players who have reaffirmed or made their loyalties clear, with a rematch to decide this argument once, and for all. Maybe.
So nominate yourself here in this thread for which side you’re on, and let the banter begin.
Details to follow below with how you can contribute and get involved with our charity fundraiser for the event.
Thank you in advance for your support.
