11th Hour Update

Few moves happening around the joint now. Mostly list cloggers & shuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic but will highlight the lesser lights commensurate to their wow value in the coming days.

CONFIRMED
Brenton Davy

West Coast Wonders > Gold City Royals

After an unsuccessful co-captaincy stint at the Colosseum, in the space of two seasons Brenton Davy has gone from Wonders leader to out the door in a move that raises more questions than answers. It really makes you wonder where the West Coast side are at, as a clearly fractured relationship has seen the shirtfronter seek greener pastures at Gold City. As he looks to reignite his career at the Royals, he adds his name to a growing list of disillusioned role players to make the move to Gold City in recent seasons.

Confirmed: Frothies Mcveigh WCW > FUR

CONFIRMED
Frothies Mcveigh

West Coast Wonders > Fighting Furies

Yet another former Wonders skipper has made a high profile move elsewhere, in one of the most surprising developments of the off season. Frothies Mcveigh, co-captain at the Colosseum last season has sensationally walked out on the club after no less than an agonising Grand Final loss. After returning to the league in Season 32, Frothies quickly rose to prominence in a rebuilding Wonders side and his loss will be felt keenly by a side haemorrhaging leaders. A peculiar choice by a high calibre player who would have had many suitors for his services, it's a good get by a Furies side bereft of top tier talent.

Confirmed: The Jesus OOB > SCS

CONFIRMED
The Jesus

Ophidian Old Boys > Sin City Swamprats

I would say nothing much surprises me anymore with the Sweet FA, but this one did. Fresh from a long sought after premiership, the rampant expansionist and renowned mercenary The Jesus has bailed on his expansion agenda just two seasons after playing a low key role in the Ophidians admittance, and makes a very intriguing move to the Underground to join forces with one of his favourite sparring partners, admin Kennedy Parker. One can only imagine the allure of running the drinks out to his idol okeydoke7 was too great to ignore.

Confirmed: Assorted list cloggers

CONFIRMED

Assorted list cloggers and mildly notable nomads

As the squad lists start to take shape on the eve of the season, we have seen a number of lower profile moves the sum total of which would amount to a vaguely audible 'oh' across the league.

Here's some of the other moves to take place so far this off season.

Rodney Dangerfield - Gumbies FFC > Sin City Swamprats
Wacky Tiger - Fighting Furies > Ophidian Old Boys
fumbler - Dragons FFC > Ophidian Old Boys
Brick Loosener - Gumbies FFC > Fighting Furies

You've just thrown a bunch of cool sounding words together that mean nothing
