What was 'the moment' of 2012 Grand Final?

dangerfield winning the sprint again was the highlight. jetta fourth last year should have come out and had another go. though hawthorn choking is the big story. statistically dominating yet poor in front of goal. franklin did not deliver in his set shots. he is almost as bad as goodes on a set shot.

Apart from what has been mentioned, I'd say Roberts-Thomson's two strong marks in defense.

Especially at the end of the third when he took the mark on the goal-line to keep the Swans in front at 3qtr time. Just gave them belief.

Also Pyke's kick off the ground to Jetta, which led to the last Malceski goal.

Maybe not "THE MOMENT" but i thought Goodes' performance, (sorry the "mentally weak Goodes" as he was called in another thread earlier in the week,) playing injured for the majority of the game was pivotal.

Goodes goal was "the moment" IMO.

Had the Hawks got up though, it would have been the rubbish free kick to Hale that resulted in the first hawk goal in ages. Bloody umps made some shocking decisions today, but that was a game changer.

Schoenmakers and Gibson getting beaten by Mitch Morton (LOL) prior to Young falling over in the goalsquare to let K.Jack kick a goal with about 6 minutes to go!

THIS:thumbsu::thumbsu:

Morton crashed his way through a 2 on 1 and then Jack out ran those 2 opponents and beat Young in a crucial 1 on 1 to kick that goal to tie the game.

Yep another for Mitch Morton wanting it more than Gibbo and Schoey, and then Young sh1tting himself and gifting the equaling goal to a desperate Jack.

Goodes must have been pumped up on something, playing with torn ligaments in your knee for that long in a game is huge and shows determination, but when he jumped off the podium when he received his medal; Don't think he will be feeling his knee for weeks. But the Morton play where the hawks player couldn't knock the ball out was defining IMO.

Luke Darcy after the game saying Cyril put on a great chase and was right withe Jetta, as the replay showed Jetta burning of Cyril. Then Darcy going quiet as Cyril pushes Jetta in the back giving a free kick away down the ground.
