I've seen the last quarter of 67 on youtube which is good from what I have watched, only have seen highlights of 691967 and 69 should be around somewhere.
1967 meant to be a good game.

You'd think the 1870 they've got tattooed across their back gives away their thoughts on the issue...or don't they know either...?
I've watched the '66 replay several times.
How on earth are people going to watch replays of the 1902 Grand Final?
Pretty tough.
But there is footage of the 1909 GF which is pretty interesting to watch
Ports were in a different competition, VFL flags are AFL flags same competition.shouldnt this be in the VFL/state league section?
it'd be quite a feat for anyone to watch every Port GF

AFL Commission doesnt agree with that ancient thought

Imagine voluntarily sitting through the 07 GF as a port supporterSo 2004 and 2007?

From what Ive read in other articles you can celebrate your old flags, count them as wins but not count them as AFL/VFL flags.
1886 and 1890's ?what's a premiership?
i'm going to tell you to google 2010 footy news and that you're an idiot bogan
Is that when your club decided to merge with the SANFL entity to try and claim some history?

This was pretty much always the case, I mean you won them so they count, just not on a list of AFL flag wins.
The difference is that VFL flags are counted as AFL flags because it is the same competition.
Premierships: One
Grand Finals: Two
Premierships: 11
Grand Finals: 22

See no mention of the Magpies SANFL wins, yet all Richmonds VFL flags are included but not our VFA flags.

The VFL was the biggest competition in the 60's and 70's and attracted many of the top interstate players to play in Victoria, dont kid yourself that all the state league comps were equal, they weren't.No one is counting them as VFL/AFL flags.
Aflag in the SANFL in the 60’s though was the exact same achievement as aflag in the VFL or in the WAFL.
Thatthe VFL went on to expand to a national league does not mean that flags in the VFL hold anymore weight than those in the SANFL or WAFL. They were all the pinnacle of football in their own states.
