Reading this after the fact, having been busy so far today and the nostalgia. A Port performance where we have more scoring shots, yet lose by over a goal. Party like it's 2015. As said on another thread the other day the VFL won't want Adelaide to have s**t crowds so expect them to get even more than usual home town umpiring. This is a prelude to what they'll get every game against us (and shitty sides and all other non-Vic sides) this year.

Our set shot kicking from 40m out is more miss than hit across our list. Rockliff and Wines are as reliable as our forwards, which is saying something.

Drew played some very solid footy at AFL level in 2019. Shouldn't surprise anyone that he can slot into this team and not miss a beat.

We are missing SPP for that relentless harassment across half forward. I mean, it’s hard to tell against this opposition but a better team would be taking it away with much better efficiency.

Why would the "vfl" give a s**t about the size of crows crowds?

A couple of soft turn over goals handed out to the crows in the last 7 or 8 minutes. Their 2 easy misses catches up to some of ours in the first half.
